Reinforcement and Antibacterial Properties of Hand Embroidery Threads Based on Green Nanocoatings
This paper presents a novel design and synthesis strategy for smart antibacterial and reinforcement coatings for hand embroidery threads. For the first, time molokhia stem extract was prepared and utilized as a reducing and capping agent for the synthesis of a uniform narrow-sized dispersion of ZnONPs, with an average size of 10 nm.

A Contact Structure for the Hybrid Resistive Embroidery Threads
2020 43rd International Spring Seminar on Electronics Technology (ISSE), 2020This publication is a follow-up to the study of an embroidered temperature sensor based on the hybrid resistive thread. It is necessary to be able to create a reliable electrical contact of the resistive thread by techniques which will be suitable for textile series production. Within the research, a reliable electrical contact of the hybrid thread was

Electrochemical analysis of gold embroidery threads from archeological textiles
[EN] A methodology for characterizing archeological gold embroidery threads based on two analytical techniques is described: Field emission scanning electron microscopy (FESEM-EDX) and voltammetry of immobilized microparticle (VIMP) methodologies. After the analysis of the chemical composition of the metallic foil, we analyze specific voltammetric ...
