Using callus culture to study the drought tolerance of wheat genotypes [PDF]
In this paper, we studied the drought tolerance under in vitro conditions of two winter wheat (T. aestivum L.) cultivars, Košuta and Renesansa. The tolerance was tested on a modified MS (Murashige and Skoog, 1962) nutrient medium to which polyethylene ...

A 3D anisotropic hydrogel derived from heart extracellular matrix guides cytoskeletal alignment and nuclear remodeling in reprogrammed cardiomyocyte‐like cells. This study reveals how matrix alignment modulates nuclear envelope dynamics and chromatin state, triggering transcriptional and functional maturation.

We present a tissue‐stimulator platform for seamless electrode integration with pancreatic tissue, applying uniform electrical stimulation through optimized design with biohybrid 3D printing. Advantageous effects of electrical stimulation on β‐cell function were observed, including enhanced calcium signaling, islet morphology, and maturation.

Human Primordial Germ Cells Are Specified from Lineage-Primed Progenitors. [PDF]
In vitro gametogenesis is the process of making germline cells from human pluripotent stem cells. The foundation of this model is the quality of the first progenitors called primordial germ cells (PGCs), which in vivo are specified during the peri ...

Biocompatible but Antibacterial Mechanism of Graphene Oxide for Sustainable Antibiotics
Graphene oxide (GO) exhibits selective antibacterial activity through specific interactions between its oxygen functional groups and bacterial membrane phospholipid POPG, causing membrane destabilization while maintaining biocompatibility. Model membrane studies and infected wound models in mice and pigs demonstrate effective bacterial suppression and ...

Histology of embryoid development in oil palm (Elaeis guineensis Jacq.) cell suspension culture [PDF]
Embryos of oil palm (Elaeis guineensis Jacq.) variety tenera were cultured on Eeuwens or Y3 (1976; 1978) medium supplemented with 2 mg/l 2,4-D. Calluses were initiated from these embryos.

In vitro toxicity of Niedenzuella (Tetrapterys) multiglandulosa on bovine embryos
Niedenzuella (Tetrapterys) multiglandulosa, a vine plant found in Brazil, has been correlated to outbreaks of poisoning in cattle and buffaloes, generating economic losses related to the death due to heart failure, miscarriage, abortion, stillbirth, and

Assembly of Cell‐Seeded 3D Printed Hydrogel Modules with Perfusable Channel Networks
Macroscale assembly was utilized to prepare perfusable tissue constructs from individually 3D printed hydrogel modules with embedded branched channel networks and port arrays for cell seeding. Novel multi‐material bioreactors were fabricated to facilitate the gluing of individual modules and the perfusion culture of assembled modular constructs seeded ...

Enhancement of NMRI Mouse Embryo Development In vitro
Most of the systematic studies used in the development of human embryo culture media have been done first on mouse embryos. The general use of NMRI outbred mice is a model for toxicology, teratology and pharmacology.
