The tissue and functional benefits are demonstrated with local, sustained delivery of an anti‐inflammatory peptide, pituitary adenylate cyclase‐activating polypeptide (PACAP), for stroke treatment in a mouse model. Prolonged PACAP treatment modulated astrocyte and microglia toward pro‐reparative phenotypes, enhanced neuroprotection and preservation of ...

Photocrosslinkable Kidney Decellularized Extracellular Matrix‐Based Bioink for 3D Bioprinting
A photocrosslinkable bioink is developed from methacrylated decellularized porcine kidney extracellular matrix to create kidney‐specific 3D constructs. This bioink supports high cell viability, promotes multicellular spheroid formation, and enables stable multilayer bioprinting with tunable mechanical properties, providing a versatile platform for ...

The role of the endometrium and embryo in human implantation [PDF]
Despite many advances in assisted reproductive technologies (ART), implantation rates are still low. The process of implantation requires a reciprocal interaction between blastocyst and endometrium, culminating in a small window of opportunity during which implantation can occur.

Granular hydrogels are emerging microporous platforms for cell culture and delivery, showing great potential for replicating the complex, heterogeneous environments found in natural tissues. This review outlines the design principles of granular hydrogels, highlighting critical factors that determine the final physicochemical properties of the entire ...

Implantation of the Human Embryo
Implantation is the final frontier to embryogenesis and successful pregnancy. Over the past three decades, there have been tremendous advances in the understanding of human embryo development. Since the advent of In Vitro Fertilization, the embryo has been readily available to study outside the body.
