The difference in early trimester fetal growth between singletons after frozen embryo transfer and fresh embryo transferAJOG Global Reports at a Glance

open access: yesAJOG Global Reports
BACKGROUND: Frozen embryo transfer resulted in a higher birthweight and an increased risk of macrosomia than fresh embryo transfer. However, the mechanism was still unclear.

Polymer Nanogels with Albumin Reporting Interface Created Using RAFT Precipitation Polymerization for Disease Diagnosis and Food Testing

open access: yesAdvanced Materials Interfaces, EarlyView.
Herein, polymer nanogels with a reporting interface for albumin are synthesized through reversible addition–fragmentation chain transfer (RAFT) precipitation polymerization of di(ethylene glycol) methyl ether methacrylate and N,N’‐methylenebis(acrylamide) using a poly(2‐methacryloyloxyethyl phosphorylcholine) macro‐RAFT agent, followed by dansyl ...

Miniaturized Devices for On‐the‐Spot Generation of Small‐Diameter Vascular Grafts

open access: yesAdvanced Materials Technologies, EarlyView.
An intracorporeal extrusion device is developed for on‐the‐spot generation of vascular grafts with tunable diameters spanning from 1 to 6 mm. The device uses biomimetic polymers and light, to promptly obtaining biocompatible and high‐burst pressure‐resistant grafts.

Transcription factor clusters as information transfer agents [PDF]

open access: yesarXiv
Deciphering how genes interpret information from the concentration of transcription factors (TFs) within the cell nucleus remains a fundamental question in gene regulation. Recent advancements have unveiled the heterogeneous distribution of TF molecules in the nucleus, posing challenges to the precise decoding of concentration signals.

Synthesis of Rhodamine TEMPO Conjugates via Isonitrile‐Based Multicomponent‐Reactions for Mitochondria‐Targeted ROS‐Detection in Cancer Cells

open access: yesAdvanced Sensor Research, EarlyView.
This article explores the development of rhodamine TEMPO conjugates via the Ugi‐multicomponent reaction to detect reactive oxygen species (ROS) in living cells. The sensors are highly selective for mitochondria in both cancer and normal cell lines, with fluorescence quenching and EPR spectroscopy offering precise ROS detection.
