New Perspectives on Semiconducting Conjugated Oligomers for Neuromodulation in Hydra vulgaris
Semiconducting organic compounds, thiophene‐based, modify the rhythmic electrical activity of the cnidarian Hydra vulgaris acting on specific neuronal circuits. The ETE‐S trimer also forms electronically conducting wires in the living tissues of the animal.

Vertical Nanostructures as Novel Interfaces for Brain Research
This review highlights the unique features of vertical nanostructures (nanoneedles, nanostraws, nanopillars, and nanowires) for applications in brain research. Various characteristics of nanostructures, including material selection, fabrication methodology, and geometric designs, are discussed for their specific use in neurite guidance, neuron pinning,

This study confirms that extracellular vesicles (EVs) derived from mesenchymal stem cells (MSCs) or HEK293F cells overexpressing CD24 have anti‐inflammatory effects in macrophages and monocytes. Further loading either of these EVs with an anti‐Myd88 peptide synergistically enhanced the anti‐inflammatory effects of the EVs.

A novel multi‐modal anion exchange membrane (MMAEX) is successfully fabricated for separating empty and full AAV2 capsids. The functionalized membrane has an average pore size of 0.5 µm and exhibits both charge and hydrophobic functionality. A full capsid recovery of 72.9% at 85.3% purity with gradient elution, or 70.3% recovery at 92.2% purity with ...
