Nanomaterials Trigger Functional Anti‐Tumoral Responses in Primary Human Immune Cells

open access: yesAdvanced Science, EarlyView.
Nanoparticles are used to improve immunomodulatory therapies, but the impact of drug‐free nanomaterials on the immune system remains unknown. Screening common biomedical nanoparticles (NPs) reveals that PLGA NPs enhanced NK cell anti‐tumoral activity and transcriptional activation in human NK and pan T cells.

Healable Dielectric Elastomer Actuator With Premature Breakdown Warning Function for Information Transmission Encryption and Human‐Machine Interaction

open access: yesAdvanced Science, EarlyView.
An integral healable dielectric elastomer actuator (ISDEA) with a premature breakdown warning function is prepared based on the combination of electroluminescent dielectric elastomer and transparent compliant electrodes. Several ISDEAs are combined to construct soft anti‐counterfeiting labels and soft intelligent keyboards, expanding their potential ...

Metabolic Programming Drives Protective and Inflammatory Monocyte Fates in Viral Encephalitis

open access: yesAdvanced Science, EarlyView.
Bone marrow monocytes infiltrate the West Nile virus‐infected brain and differentiate into HIF1‐α⁺ monocyte‐derived cells (MCs) that diverge into protective, antigen‐presenting or inflammatory, iNOS⁺ MCs with distinct metabolic programs and functions.
