Impact of the “carbon trade—carbon tax” policy package on China’s macroeconomics and carbon emission reduction

open access: yesFrontiers in Environmental Science
IntroductionBy constructing a computable general equilibrium model of "carbon trading" and "carbon trade-carbon tax", this study aims to deeply explore the combined impact of these two policies on China's economic development and carbon emission ...

Intrinsic Nanopore‐Assisted SnP2S6 Memristors With Ti Ion Dynamics for Compact Logic‐In‐Memory Hardware

open access: yesAdvanced Functional Materials, EarlyView.
Tin hexathiophosphate memristors leverage intrinsic nanopores together with a guided filament formation strategy to regulate titanium ion motion and switching behavior. The devices support reliable nonvolatile memory and reconfigurable logic‐in‐memory, demonstrating 14 Boolean logic functions in a single cell.

Optimal scheduling of integrated energy systems with a ladder-type carbon trading mechanism and demand response

open access: yesFrontiers in Energy Research
Introduction: To achieve the “dual carbon” goal, the integrated energy system (IES) needs to take into account both economic and low-carbon requirements while meeting the growing energy demand. Methods: Therefore, an optimal scheduling model for low ...

Supplementarity in the European carbon emission market [PDF]

open access: yes
In this paper we investigate emission trading within the EU and, more specifically, some proposals to impose ceilings on emission trading. We compare different proposals put forward by the EU negotiators at the international level in the framework of the

Novel Functional Materials via 3D Printing by Vat Photopolymerization

open access: yesAdvanced Functional Materials, EarlyView.
This Perspective systematically analyzes strategies for incorporating functionalities into 3D‐printed materials via Vat Photopolymerization (VP). It explores the spectrum of achievable functionalities in recently reported novel materials—such as conductive, energy‐storing, biodegradable, stimuli‐responsive, self‐healing, shape‐memory, biomaterials, and

Games Strategy Study of Power Generation and Carbon Emission Rights Trading [PDF]

open access: yesNature Environment and Pollution Technology, 2019
It is of great significance to reduce carbon emissions from electric power generation for green development. In addition to technical measures, two trading mechanisms are built to optimize China’s electric power generation: generation rights trading, and

Rent-seeking and grandfathering: The case of GHG trade in the EU [PDF]

open access: yes
The EU Commission has recently proposed a new directive establishing a framework for greenhouse gas (GHG) emissions trading within the European Union. The idea is to devalue the emission quotas in circulation by the year 2012 at latest, so that the EU ...

Nucleation‐Controlled Reconstruction of CuOx for Selective CO2 Electroreduction

open access: yesAdvanced Functional Materials, EarlyView.
The ratio of oxygen vacancies (Ov) and exposed Cu2O (111)/(200) of CuOx precatalyst is modulated by nucleation control of Cu(OH)2 precursor. Low Ov ratio and high ratio of Cu2O (111)/(200) in slow‐nucleated CuOx reconstructs to high‐coordinated oxide‐derived copper (OD‐Cu) during electrochemical CO2 reduction reaction (CO2RR) and exhibits enhanced ...
