Observation of C18O (J=1−0) emission from Cepheus C

Chinese Astronomy and Astrophysics, 1996
C18O (J = 1 − 0) emission from Cepheus C was observed for the first time using the millimetre wave telescope of the Department of Astrophysics, Nagoya University. The integrated intensity map reveals three emission cores. Their parameters are derived.

Transition moments active in the PH (b 1Σ+ ν′ = 0 → X 3Σ− ν″ = 0) emission

Chemical Physics Letters, 1991
Abstract The ratio μ ‖ /μ ⊥ of the transition moments in the PH (b 1 Σ + ν′ = 0 → X 3 Σ − ν″ = 0) emission is obtained from the relative intensities of the rotational branches. A radiative lifetime value, previously determined, allows an evaluation of the effective transition moment and thus the single components can be deduced.

0/2 harmonic emission from thin foils

Physics of Fluids, 1985
Temporally and spectrally resolved 3ω0/2 harmonic emission has been recorded from 1.05 μm laser‐irradiated thin foil targets which become underdense during the laser pulse of 600–900 psec. Changes in the spectra of both the backscattered and forward scattered harmonic light are observed coincident with the disappearance of the nc surface.

Photoemission of Co/Cu(1 0 0). Non-relativistic spin- and angle-resolved normal emission

Solid State Communications, 1991
Abstract The Co/Cu(1 0 0) system is the first system known where the contributions to the spin polarisation of spin-orbit coupling and the ferromagnetic overlayer were clearly distinguisher experimentally. In order to get a first understanding of the contributions of the 3 d -overlayer and the substrate to the photocurrent, non-relativistic spin ...

Isolated hard photon emission in hadronic $\mathrm{Z^0}$ decays

1992
We report on a study of energetic, isolated photons in a sample of ∼ 320 000 Z0 hadronic decays. Energetic isolated photons probe the short-distance structure of QCD. We compare our data with the prediction of several QCD-based calculations. A search for new processes with one or two photons in the hadronic final state is also presented.
