Radar emitter identification based on unintentional phase modulation on pulse characteristic

open access: yesTongxin xuebao, 2020
Aiming at the problem of poor performance of the classification model in the case of unintentional phase modulation on pulse (UPMOP) to achieve radar specific emitter identification,a method for radar specific emitter identification with long and short ...

Transferrin receptor 1‐mediated iron uptake supports thermogenic activation in human cervical‐derived adipocytes

open access: yesFEBS Letters, EarlyView.
In this study, we found that human cervical‐derived adipocytes maintain intracellular iron level by regulating the expression of iron transport‐related proteins during adrenergic stimulation. Melanotransferrin is predicted to interact with transferrin receptor 1 based on in silico analysis.

Few-Shot Radar Emitter Signal Recognition Based on Attention-Balanced Prototypical Network

open access: yesRemote Sensing, 2022
In recent years, radar emitter signal identification has been greatly developed via the utilization of deep learning and has achieved significant improvements in identification accuracy. However, with the continuous emergence of complex regime radars and

Hyperosmotic stress induces PARP1‐mediated HPF1‐dependent mono(ADP‐ribosyl)ation

open access: yesFEBS Letters, EarlyView.
Sorbitol‐induced hyperosmotic stress rapidly induces reversible mono(ADP‐ribosyl)ation (MARylation) on PARP1 without the signs of genotoxic signaling. We show that PARP1 autoMARylation is HPF1 dependent and forms hydroxylamine‐resistant O‐glycosidic linkages.

Specific Emitter Identification Based on Ensemble Neural Network and Signal Graph

open access: yesApplied Sciences, 2022
Specific emitter identification (SEI) is a technology for extracting fingerprint features from a signal and identifying the emitter. In this paper, the author proposes an SEI method based on ensemble neural networks (ENN) and signal graphs, with the ...

An unexpected alternative viologen electron mediator site in tungsten‐containing formate dehydrogenase

open access: yesFEBS Letters, EarlyView.
An unexpected alternative interaction site for ethyl viologen was identified in formate dehydrogenase 1 from Methylorubrum extorquens. Combined mutagenesis, kinetic analysis, and docking revealed that aromatic residues near an iron–sulfur cluster enable flavin mononucleotide‐independent electron transfer, offering a framework for engineering improved ...

Salmonella lipopolysaccharide‐containing supported lipid bilayers as platforms to study bacteriophage interactions

open access: yesFEBS Letters, EarlyView.
We present robust protocols for the preparation of supported lipid bilayers (SLBs) incorporating either Salmonella smooth LPS or outer membrane vesicles (OMVs). We use a combination of quartz crystal microbalance with dissipation (QCM‐D) and fluorescence microscopy to both characterize the SLBs of various compositions and to probe their interactions ...

Reconstructing enzyme evolution by protein engineering

open access: yesFEBS Letters, EarlyView.
Natural enzyme evolution can be retraced by protein engineering methods such as directed evolution, rational design, and ancestral sequence reconstruction. These approaches reveal how enzymes emerged from ligand‐binding scaffolds, developed varying substrate preferences, formed oligomeric complexes, adapted to environmental changes, and evolved novel ...

Applying the radiated emission to the specific emitter identification

open access: yesJournal of Telecommunications and Information Technology, 2005
During the last years we have observed fast development of the electronic devices and electronic warfare systems (EW). One of the most principal functions of the ESM/ELINT system is gathering basic information from the entire electromagnetic spectrum ...
