Astrocytic SCTR modulates depressive‐related phenotypes via AMPKα1, whereas lowered Mt1 blunts Megalin‐dependent AMPKα2 signaling in serotonergic neurons. Diminished AMPKα2 hinders KAT7 nuclear translocation, curtails KAT7 occupancy and H4K8ac at the Foxc2 promoter, and represses Foxc2 transcription, revealing cell‐type‐specific AMPK‐linked epigenetic ...

Independent and collaborative contributions of the cerebral hemispheres to emotional processing
Presented is a model suggesting that the RH directly mediates the identification and comprehension of positive and negative emotional stimuli, whereas the LH contributes to higher level processing of emotional information that has been shared via the ...

Experiential Avoidance Mediates the Association between Emotion Regulation Abilities and Loneliness
Experiential avoidance (EA) involves the unwillingness to remain in contact with aversive experiences such as painful feelings, thoughts, and emotions. EA is often associated with the development and maintenance of emotional problems. Since loneliness is characterized by negative emotions such as sadness and pessimism, which is often linked to ...

Drug Repurposing for Treating NCOR‐Related Intellectual Disability
An autism‐associated NCOR1 heterozygous mutation upregulates NRGs and activates NRG backward signaling in hypothalamic GABAergic neurons in mouse models, leading to Gabra2 downregulation and cognitive deficits, which can be therapeutically targeted by repurposing FDA‐approved drugs.

Early‐life manganese exposure induces behavioral deficits and aberrant hippocampal synaptic remodeling by enhancing microglial phagocytosis in young adult male mice. Mechanistically, manganese promotes Yin Yang 1 (YY1)/triggering receptor expressed on myeloid cells 2 (TREM2) signaling through enhanced HIF1α‐mediated transcription and suppressed SMURF2 ...

Microglial PBRM1 deficiency drives excessive hippocampal neurogenesis by enhancing CCL5–CCR1/5 signaling, leading to autism‐like behaviors. A pro‐inflammatory IL1α+/TNFα+ microglial subset is identified as a key cellular contributor to this process. PBRM1 represses Ccl5 expression at the transcriptional level.
