DIABETES MELLITUS IN AN EMPLOYED POPULATION

Medical information on 90,596 employees of a large company was surveyed during 1956 and 1957 in an appraisal of facts regarding diabetes. The company physicians reported on 408 employees having the disease and an equal number of nondiabetic employees matching the diabetic group as to age, sex, occupation, and location.
