Fabrication Error Modeling and Analysis of an E-Band MHMIC Balanced Power Detector

open access: yesIEEE Access
This study models and analyses the fabrication errors of an ultra-wideband (UWB) Schottky diode power detector using miniature hybrid-microwave integrated-circuit (MHMIC) technology.

Ultrafast Optical Arbitrary-Order Differentiators Based on Apodized Long-Period Gratings

open access: yesIEEE Photonics Journal, 2011
We propose a novel, optimized design for arbitrary-order optical differentiation based on a uniform-period especially apodized long-period fiber or waveguide grating (LPG) operated in transmission.

An Interface Method for Co-simulation of EMT Model and Shifted Frequency EMT Model Based on Rotational Invariance Techniques [PDF]

open access: yesarXiv
The shifted frequency-based electromagnetic transient (SFEMT) simulation has greatly improved the computational efficiency of traditional electromagnetic transient (EMT) simulation for the ac grid. This letter proposes a novel interface for the co-simulation of the SFEMT model and the traditional EMT model.

Effective energy-momentum tensor of strong-field QED with unstable vacuum

open access: yes, 2007
We study the influence of a vacuum instability on the effective energy-momentum tensor (EMT) of QED, in the presence of a quasiconstant external electric field, by means of the relevant Green functions.

Patient Perceptions of Medication Therapy for Prevention of Posttraumatic Osteoarthritis Following Anterior Cruciate Ligament Injury: A Qualitative Content Analysis

open access: yesArthritis Care &Research, EarlyView.
Objective Posttraumatic osteoarthritis (PTOA) accounts for nearly 12% of osteoarthritis incidences and often occurs after anterior cruciate ligament (ACL) tear. Ensuring the uptake of preventive treatments for PTOA requires that investigators and clinicians understand factors influencing patients to seek preventive therapies.

QCD Thermodynamics on the Lattice from the Gradient Flow [PDF]

open access: yesarXiv, 2017
To obtain the precise values of the bulk quantities and transport coefficients in quark-gluon-plasma phase, we propose that a direct calculation of the renormalized energy-momentum tensor (EMT) on the lattice using the gradient flow. From one-point function of EMT, authors in Ref.[1] obtained the interaction measure and thermal entropy. The results are

Herbal Formula Yi‐Fei‐Jie‐Du‐Tang Regulates Epithelial‐Mesenchymal Transition and Vasculogenic Mimicry in Lung Cancer via HIF1A‐Mediated Ferroptosis

open access: yesAdvanced Biology, Volume 9, Issue 3, March 2025.
Yi‐Fei‐Jie‐Du‐Tang (YFJDT), a traditional Chinese medicine, has shown potential in lung cancer treatment by targeting key pathways. This study explores the mechanisms of YFJDT using bioinformatics, xenograft models, and A549 cells, demonstrating that YFJDT downregulates HIF1A, promotes ferroptosis, and inhibits epithelial‐mesenchymal transition (EMT ...

Numerical Modeling of a Low-Cobalt All-Solid-State Cell with Ceramic Electrolyte Using a Deformable Geometry

open access: yesBatteries
All-solid-state batteries with a lithium negative electrode and a ceramic electrolyte are key toward high energy density. To ensure a safe, fast, accurate, and cost-effective development of this technology, the experimental methodology must be supported ...

Activation of SIRT1 Reduces Renal Tubular Epithelial Cells Fibrosis in Hypoxia Through SIRT1‐FoxO1‐FoxO3‐Autophagy Pathway

open access: yesAdvanced Biology, EarlyView.
Hypoxia promotes the epithelial‐mesenchymal transition (EMT) of renal tubular epithelial cells via the SIRT1‐FoxO1‐FoxO3‐autophagy pathway, thereby resulting in the fibrosis of renal tubular epithelial cells. Activation of SIRT1 or induction of autophagy inhibits this process, alleviating hypoxia‐induced fibrosis.
