Arabian Journal for Science and Engineering, 2015In the present study, two bacteria Pseudomonas sp. and Bacillus sp. resistant to the crude oil were isolated from the Khor Musa sediments, Persian Gulf, Iran. Hemolysis, oil spreading and drop collapse methods were applied to measure the ability of bacteria in producing the biosurfactant.
