Highly effective way in five-axis sculptured surfaces machining using flat-end cutter [PDF]
This paper applied the concept of “contact” in Differential Geometry into the machining of the sculptured surface. I presented the contact principle of the machining of complicated surfaces, using the circumference circle of the cylindrical cutter to ...

Enhancing Low‐Temperature Performance of Sodium‐Ion Batteries via Anion‐Solvent Interactions
DOL is introduced into electrolytes as a co‐solvent, increasing slat solubility, ion conductivity, and the de‐solvent process, and forming an anion‐rich solvent shell due to its high interaction with anion. With the above virtues, the batteries using this electrolyte exhibit excellent cycling stability at low temperatures. Abstract Sodium‐ion batteries

Coating the standard polypropylene separator with a porous red phosphorous nanosheet greatly improves cycling performance in Li electrode cells. The phosphorus‐based surface chemistry deactivates electrolyte solvent decomposition and enhances the cleavage of F‐containing salt, resulting in an inorganic‐dominated electrolyte interphase (SEI) composition

OPTIMIZATION OF END MILLS PERIPHERY MILLING
A mathematical model is developed for optimization of process of the peripheral milling, which contains the digital method of determination of cutting force, and also equalizations relating limitations with the guided parameters of the cutting mode: by frequency of rotation of spindle and feed-rate.

Performance of laser assisted micro-milling (laμmill) of titanium alloy using micro ball end mill [PDF]
Laser assisted milling technique turns to be complicated and unpredictable when the machining size is scaled to micro level. Furthermore, less has been reported on the application of ball end mill in laser assisted micro milling.
