Reproduction and development of the endangered sedum integrifolium ssp. leedyi (Crassulaceae) [PDF]
Information on reproduction and life history is important for the conservation of endangered plants. We investigated rates of flowering, seed set, and germination in populations of the endangered perennial plant Sedum integrifolium ssp. leedyi. Germination and flowering rates differed significantly among populations, but seed set rate did not.

Abstract As habitat salinity markedly differs between the endangered, freshwater‐dwelling Saimaa ringed seal (Pusa saimensis Nordquist, 1899) and the brackish water‐inhabiting Baltic ringed seal (Pusa hispida botnica Gmelin, 1788), we investigated whether this difference has resulted in morphological changes to their kidneys.
