Misconceptions about parsimony analysis of endemicity [PDF]
AbstractParsimony analysis of endemicity (PAE) has been widely criticized in the recent literature based on methodology rather than on theory. Here I argue that most of the criticisms of PAE result from confusion between thedynamicandstaticapproaches of PAE, by both users and critics of the method.

The Morphometric Analysis of the Human Thyroid of the Endemic Region of Ukraine
Introduction. Since the thyroid gland (TG), like the rest of the human body, is characterised by wide variety in shape and size, the evaluation of its linear and volumetric parameters by ultrasound images is one of the most important and objective ways of quantitative characteristics of the organ.

Diversity and complexity in neural organoids
Neural organoid research aims to expand genetic diversity on one side and increase tissue complexity on the other. Chimeroids integrate multiple donor genomes within single organoids. Self‐organising multi‐identity organoids, exogenous cell seeding, or enforced assembly of region‐specific organoids contribute to tissue complexity.

Drugs previously repurposed to target blood cancers reduced neuroblastoma and glioblastoma cell growth and viability. However, their levels of anticancer activity were different and their clinical application may be problematic due to side effects at effective doses.

Host‐specific compatibility between RNF138‐like proteins and flavivirus NS5 determines NS5 stability. Mammalian RNF138 but not arthropod homologs recognizes and induces conserved NS5/RdRp K48‐linked ubiquitination and proteasomal degradation, thereby restricting viral replication. Ectopic RNF138 in mice attenuates TBEV‐induced pathogenesis. (Created in

MATHEMATICAL ANALYSIS OF THE ENDEMIC EQUILIBRIUM OF MALARIAHYGIENE MODEL
In this study, we analyzed the endemic equilibrium point of a malaria-hygiene mathematical model. We prove that the mathematical model is biological and meaningfully well-posed. We also compute the basic reproduction number using the next generation method.

Donor Extended Blue TADF Dendrimer for High‐Performance Solution‐Processed OLEDs
A dendronized MR‐TADF emitter, DOBNA‐SpAc‐DCz, was designed to improve solubility, hole transport, and exciton dynamics for solution‐processed OLEDs. Incorporation of ter(tert‐butylcarbazole) dendrons decreases ΔEST and accelerates RISC, yielding short delayed lifetimes (∼2 µs).

This study identifies RNA‐binding protein RBM25 as a broad‐spectrum antiviral factor acting independently of type I interferon. It blocks viral entry by suppressing GTPase Rab22a via the RC3H1‐mediated destabilization of Rab22a mRNA. Viral downregulation of RBM25 enhances GTPase Rab22a expression and viral entry, revealing an unreported post ...
