Detection of endocrine disrupting chemicals in aerial invertebrates at sewage treatment works
Endocrine disrupting chemicals (EDCs) constitute a diverse group of chemical compounds which can alter endocrine function in exposed animals. Whilst most studies have focussed on exposure of wildlife to EDCs via aquatic routes, there is the potential for

Toward a Politics of (In)Fertility: Reproductive Debility in Africa
ABSTRACT Sub‐Saharan Africa has some of the highest estimated rates of infertility or involuntary childlessness in the world, leading epidemiologists to refer to parts of the region as the “infertility belt.” The medicalization of infertility and the situating of assisted reproductive technologies (ARTs) as the treatment for infertility have siphoned ...

Dapagliflozin Alters Plasma Metabolome in Patients With Type 1 Diabetes During Ketosis
ABSTRACT Aims Use of sodium‐glucose cotransporter 2 inhibitors (SGLT2i) in patients with type 1 diabetes (T1D) is limited by increased risk of ketoacidosis. We aimed to determine metabolic pathways affected by SGLT2i treatment in adults with T1D during ketosis induced by insulin withdrawal.

Geographical Pattern of Testicular Cancer Points to Maternal Exposures Behind Increasing Incidence
ABSTRACT Evidence suggests that testicular cancer (TC) originates from germ cell neoplasia in situ arising during fetal development, implying that prenatal environmental exposures may influence disease risk. We investigated whether maternal place of residence during pregnancy is associated with regional variation in TC incidence.

Painless Biosensing for Non‐Invasive Health Monitoring: Advances, Platforms and Future Directions
ABSTRACT Non‐invasive biosensing has expanded blood‐based diagnostics into a growing set of accessible peripheral biofluids, yet most existing reviews remain confined to sweat, tears, saliva and urine, and treat the underlying literature descriptively rather than critically.

ABSTRACT Bisphenol A (BPA), a common industrial chemical used in plastics and consumer products, is increasingly detected in aquatic environments, raising serious concerns about its potential ecological impacts. This study evaluated the sublethal and acute toxic effects of BPA on the freshwater planarian Girardia tigrina, a recognized model for ...

Among 30 synthesized pyrrolo[1,2‐a]pyrazine analogs, compounds B1 and B3 showed strong and selective cytotoxicity toward TNBC cells, inducing apoptosis through Akt suppression and JNK activation. Triple‐negative breast cancer (TNBC) remains a major clinical challenge due to the absence of effective targeted therapies.
