Pathogenic Neurofibromatosis type 1 gene variants in tumors of non‐NF1 patients and role of R1276
Somatic variants of the neurofibromatosis type 1 (NF1) gene occur across neoplasms without clinical manifestation of the disease NF1. We identified emerging somatic pathogenic NF1 variants and hotspots, for example, at the arginine finger 1276. Those missense variants provide fundamental information about neurofibromin's role in cancer.

Endocrine-Disrupting Chemicals: Testing to Protect Future Generations [PDF]
Endocrine-disrupting chemicals (EDCs) are a class of chemicals that interferes with human hormone processes. EDCs are omnipresent: pesticides, plastics, and drugs, among other common chemicals, all demonstrate endocrine-disrupting properties.

The endocrine disruptor TCDD modulates microRNA expression in preimplantation mouse embryos and spheroids attachment on human endometrial epithelial cells in vitro [PDF]
Conference Theme: The Intersection Between Genetics, Genomics, and Reproductive BiologyThe endocrine disruptor (ED) is an exogenous substance that acts on the endocrine system and modulates normal physiological functions of the body. Although EDs such as

Raman‐based label‐free microscopic analysis of the pancreas in living zebrafish larvae
Forward stimulated Raman scattering (F‐SRS) and epi coherent anti‐Stokes Raman scattering (E‐CARS) allow label‐free discrimination of distinct subcellular structures in the pancreas of living zebrafish larvae. Given the straightforward applicability, we anticipate broad implementation of Raman microscopy in other organs and across various biomedical ...

Degradation of 2-Chlokophenol in Water Using Advanced Oxidation Processes [PDF]
The presence of endocrine disruptor chemicals (EDCs) in treated wastewater lately, is alarming. Chlorophenols, an endocrine disruptor chemical compound is hardly eliminated in water using conventional treatment.

Combined transcriptomic-(1)H NMR metabonomic study reveals yhat monoethylhexyl phthalate stimulates adipogenesis and glyceroneogenesis in human adipocytes [PDF]
Adipose tissue is a major storage site for lipophilic environmental contaminants. The environmental metabolic disruptor hypothesis postulates that some pollutants can promote obesity or metabolic disorders by activating nuclear receptors involved in the ...

This study investigates the protective role of salubrinal against heat‐induced endoplasmic reticulum (ER) stress in mouse spermatogenic cells (GC1 and GC2). By modulating the ER stress pathway, salubrinal alleviates cellular stress and supports spermatogenic cell survival, suggesting its potential as a therapeutic candidate for heat‐related infertility.

Pyriproxyfen, villain or good guy? A brief review [PDF]
Pyriproxyfen (PPF) acts as a juvenile growth regulator, interfering with normal metamorphosis and blocking the development of insects into adulthood. Although the World Health Organization (WHO) considers the use of PPF at a concentration of 0.01 mg/L as
