Coordinated Role of Autophagy and ERAD in Maintaining Neuroendocrine Function by Preventing Prohormone Aggregation

open access: yesAdvanced Science, EarlyView.
By studying the maturation mechanisms of vasopressin (AVP), this manuscript identifies FAM134B‐mediated ER‐phagy as a critical pathway for degrading both aggregated proAVP and the key ERAD component, HRD1. HRD1 induction mitigates proAVP aggregation and support AVP neuron function in the absence of autophagy.

Multiomics and Systematic Analyses Reveal the Roles of Hemoglobin and the HIF‐1 Pathway in Polycystic Ovary Syndrome

open access: yesAdvanced Science, EarlyView.
High‐end normal hemoglobin levels are associated with an increased odds of polycystic ovary syndrome (PCOS), potentially through a mechanism of elevating testosterone levels involving the hypoxia‐inducible factor 1 (HIF‐1) pathway. These findings provide novel insights into the pathophysiology of PCOS and highlight that hemoglobin levels may serve as a

Enhancer Profiling Reveals a Protective Role of RXRα Against Calcium Oxalate‐Induced Crystal Deposition and Kidney Injury

open access: yesAdvanced Science, EarlyView.
Comprehensive epigenomic and transcriptomic profiling revealed a dynamic enhancer landscape and gene expression program associated with nephrolithiasis, highlighting RXRα as a central transcription factor in this regulatory network. Tubular‐specific deletion of RXRα increased intrarenal CaOx crystal deposition, while its activation with Bexarotene ...

From Invaginating Site to Deep Lesion: Spatial Transcriptomics Unravels Ectopic Endometrial Penetration Features in Adenomyosis

open access: yesAdvanced Science, EarlyView.
This work utilizes spatial transcriptomics to map the transcriptional landscape of adenomyosis with obvious invagination structure from the invaginating site to deep lesions. By integrating with single‐cell RNA sequencing, this study elucidates the molecular features of invagination, invasion, and fibrosis, and finds the major participants and vital ...
