Dens Invaginatus as a Biomechanical Risk Modifier in Dental Trauma: Finite Element Analysis
ABSTRACT Introduction/Aims Traumatic dental injuries are common in childhood and may adversely affect functional and psychosocial well‐being. Dens invaginatus, a developmental anomaly caused by the infolding of the enamel organ during odontogenesis, alters tooth morphology and may influence biomechanical behavior under traumatic loading.

ABSTRACT Introduction Traumatic dental injuries are a common oral health problem among children and have significant health consequences. Children with autism spectrum disorder may face an increased risk of traumatic dental injuries, potentially due to developmental delays, sensory difficulties, and behavioral challenges.

[Access cavity for endodontic treatment of anterior teeth].
In this study the authors investigated a group of front teeth, extracted because of the periodontal problems, into which an access cavity have been drilled at the point shown on an x-ray between two straight lines which start at the apex and are tangent to the pulp chamber.

ABSTRACT Aim Tooth avulsion is among the traumatic dental injuries that require immediate intervention during childhood, and children are often with teachers or parents at the time of such incidents. This situation highlights the need to evaluate the first aid knowledge levels of these individuals regarding the emergency management of avulsion. The aim

Access cavity in endodontics: Balancing precision, preservation, and clinical needs
Abstract Endodontic access cavity preparation is a critical step that directly influences subsequent endodontic procedures. Procedural errors in this initial phase, whether in position, depth, or extension, can inevitably compromise the outcome of the entire treatment. Although access cavity preparation was historically believed not to weaken

ABSTRACT Introduction Domestic abuse is a significant public health issue associated with physical harm and long‐term health consequences. Injuries involving the head, face, and oral region are among the most frequent physical manifestations, making oral and maxillofacial trauma a potentially critical indicator of abuse in clinical settings. This study

Microleakage of endodontic access cavities restored with composites.
A proper seal of restorative composites in endodontic access cavities is mandatory to prevent ingress of microorganisms and debris into the tooth-restoration interface. Chemically cured composites tend to have less polymerization shrinkage than photopolymerization composites.
