This study shows that lower NAM levels in PE‐derived pEVs correlate with disease severity. NAM‐deficient pEVs reduce Th1 and Th17 inhibition, leading to PE‐like symptoms. NAM in pEVs inhibits Th1 via SIRT1 and Th17 via macrophages. Reduced NAM in PE‐EVs is due to decreased HRS expression in trophoblasts, resulting from elevated HSP27.

Aged HSF1 muscle‐specific knockout mice show deteriorated muscle atrophy and metabolic dysfunction, while active HSF1 overexpression improves muscle function via activating SIRT3 to deacetylate both PGC1α1 and PGC1α4, which boosts mitochondrial function and muscle hypertrophy in a fiber‐type specific manner, and induces FNDC5/Irisin for tissue ...

p16Ink4a‐Positive Hepatocytes Drive Liver Fibrosis Through Activation of LIFR Family Pathway
This study found that, following the long‐term CCl4 treatment, p16high hepatocytes appeared in zone 3, spatially co‐localizing with fibrotic areas. A specific cluster of p16high hepatocytes upregulated CTF1/LIF expression which induced HSC activation and further liver fibrosis, as revealed by single cell transcriptomic analysis.

Normal bladders exhibit quiescent fibroblasts/macrophages, whereas neurogenic bladders show acute‐phase Itga8⁺ fibroblast expansion driven by Trem2⁺ macrophage‐secreted Fn1, which activates FAK/RhoA/ROCK signaling, promotes cytoskeletal remodeling, and upregulates pro‐fibrotic genes.

Latent endogenous viral elements drive active infection and inheritance in a multicellular host
Endogenous viral elements (EVEs) inserted in host genomes are often regarded as inert relics of past infections. Whether they can retain infective potential and contribute to active viral cycles has remained unresolved. Here, we demonstrate that EVEs in the brown alga Ectocarpus can reactivate and drive productive viral infections.

The Disordered Region of ASXL1 Acts as an Auto‐Regulator Through Condensation
ASXL1's long IDR encodes an electrostatic “basic platform + acidic brake” that autoregulates condensation. Truncation at a clinical hotspot lifts this brake, forming condensates that retarget BRD2, remodel local chromatin accessibility, and impair neutrophil maturation.

This study investigates the role of M2 macrophage‐derived extracellular vesicles (M2 EVs) in prostate cancer (PCa) metastasis. Mechanistically, M2 EVs horizontally transfer TXNDC5 mRNA to PCa cells, where the molecule induces the mesenchymal‐like state (MLS), enhancing PCa migration and invasion.
