Morphine Tolerance Gated through EZH2‐Mediated Suppression of Trpc5 in Spinal GABAergic Interneurons in Male Mice

open access: yesAdvanced Science, EarlyView.
Chronic morphine suppresses Trpc5 in spinal GABAergic interneurons via EZH2‐mediated histone modification, reducing Ca2+ influx and GABA release. TRPC5 activation enhances morphine analgesia, while EZH2 inhibition restores efficacy and reverses tolerance.

17β-Estradiol promotes endometrial cancer proliferation and invasion through IL-6 pathway

open access: yesEndocrine Connections, 2019
Accumulating evidence revealed that the leading risk factor of endometrial cancer is exposure to endogenous and exogenous estrogens, while the exact mechanism underlying estrogen contribution to endometrial cancer progression has not been elucidated ...

Progestins and endometrial cancer

open access: yesGynecological Endocrinology, 2001
Premenopausal women--especially young women--with endometrial cancer stage I may be treated successfully with progestins alone as primary therapy to preserve their child-bearing potential. There is some indication that progestins could be used in neoadjuvant fashion.

Women's perception, attitudes, and intended behavior towards predictive epigenetic risk testing for female cancers in 5 European countries: A cross-sectional online survey [PDF]

open access: yes, 2019
BACKGROUND: Epigenetic markers might be used for risk-stratifying cancer screening and prevention programs in the future. Although the clinical utility of consequent epigenetic tests for risk stratification is yet to be proven, successful adoption into ...

ARL3 Enhances ERα Stability via USP10 Deubiquitination to Promote Endocrine Resistance and Drive Mitochondrial Metabolic Reprogramming in HR+ Breast Cancer

open access: yesAdvanced Science, EarlyView.
This study identifies ADP‐ribosylation factor‐like protein 3 (ARL3) as a novel chaperone that stabilizes estrogen receptor α (ERα) in breast cancer. ARL3 promotes tumor growth by recruiting USP10 to remove ubiquitin chains from ERα, preventing its degradation.

The role of extracellular vesicles in the communication between endometrial cancer cells and tumour-associated macrophages: a review

open access: yesJournal of Cancer Research and Clinical Oncology
Endometrial cancer is a significant threat to the health of women worldwide. Extracellular vesicles are essential for the proliferation, migration, and invasion of cancer cells, whereas tumour-associated macrophages (TAMs) are key regulators of cancer ...

FXYD3 Promotes Tumor Progression by Binding With IRF7 to Regulate JAK2/STAT5 Signaling in Intrahepatic Cholangiocarcinoma

open access: yesAdvanced Science, EarlyView.
FXYD3 binds IRF7 via its 60–87aa domain, triggering a cGAS/STING‐mediated positive feedback loop amplified by type I interferon. This sustains JAK2/STAT5 activation, accelerating ICC progression. Targeting FXYD3 with siFXYD3@PEP suppresses tumors and enhances chemotherapy sensitivity. Abstract Intrahepatic cholangiocarcinoma (ICC) has a poor prognosis,
