Oxidative stress in endometrial hyperplasia
Menopause, 2008Reactive oxygen species seem to be involved in the onset and promotion of carcinogenesis. In 80% of cases of endometrial adenocarcinoma type I, a clear association exists with endometrial hyperplasia, which is considered a key factor in the endometrial oncological spectrum.

Obstetrics and gynecology clinics of North America, 1996Endometrial cancer is the most frequently seen gynecologic neoplasm, but it fortunately has low mortality, which is due largely to its presentation with abnormal bleeding and its subsequent early diagnosis. The morbidity associated with therapy for early lesions is moderate. Hyperplasia with atypia should be treated as early cancers.
