An Unusual Endometrial Stromal Neoplasm With JAZF1-BCORL1 Rearrangement

Expression of androgen receptors in benign and malignant endometrial stromal neoplasms [PDF]
Several studies have shown that endometrial stromal neoplasms express estrogen and progesterone receptors (ER, PR). To our knowledge, the presence or absence of androgen receptors (AR) in these rare uterine neoplasms has not been investigated. Tumors ( n=20)-3 endometrial stromal nodules, 14 low-grade endometrial stromal sarcomas (ESS, low grade), and ...

Endometrial Stromal Neoplasms Are Immunoreactive with WT-1 Antibody
International Journal of Gynecological Pathology, 2004WT-1 positivity has previously been noted in nonneoplastic endometrial stroma. In this study we examined WT-1 expression in endometrial stromal neoplasms to ascertain whether these tumors are immunoreactive and whether this antibody might be of value in the diagnosis of these lesions.

Endometrial Stromal Neoplasm in the Placenta: Report of a Case and Review of the Literature
International Journal of Gynecological Pathology, 2018Placental neoplasms involving the fetal membranes are exceptionally rare. In leiomyomas and endometrial stromal neoplasms, a uterine origin for nodules in the membranes is also a possibility. We present a case of an incidental endometrial stromal nodule found in the decidua of the free membranes and review the literature.
