Lactobacillus‐Loaded Bioadhesive Hydrogel with Prolonged Retention and Microenvironmental Remodeling for Endometrial Repair and Fertility Restoration

open access: yesAdvanced Science, EarlyView.
A bioactive adhesive hydrogel capable of long‐term uterine retention (>14 days) and local microenvironment modulation is developed by straightforward integration of α‐lipoic acid, L‐arginine, tannic acid, and Lactobacillus johnsonii, which can markedly enhance endometrial repair and restore fertility in a rat model of endometrial injury.

Fine-mapping of the HNF1B multicancer locus identifies candidate variants that mediate endometrial cancer risk. [PDF]

open access: yes, 2014
Common variants in the hepatocyte nuclear factor 1 homeobox B (HNF1B) gene are associated with the risk of Type II diabetes and multiple cancers. Evidence to date indicates that cancer risk may be mediated via genetic or epigenetic effects on HNF1B gene ...

An Injectable ROS‐Responsive Nanozyme Hydrogel Regulates the Uterine Microenvironment to Prevent Intrauterine Adhesions

open access: yesAdvanced Science, EarlyView.
The injectable CeTA@GPP hydrogel is administered via intrauterine injection, forming a protective barrier. In the high ROS inflammatory microenvironment of injured endometrium, boronate ester cleavage triggers responsive CeTA release and local enrichment.

A Metabolic‐Epigenetic Axis of AARS1/IGF2BP3‐K280 Lactylation Sustains Endometrial Cancer Stemness and Recurrence

open access: yesAdvanced Science, EarlyView.
Lactate‐driven endometrial cancer relapse is mediated by enzymatic protein modification. Elevated lactate levels activate AARS1, which catalyzes K280 lactylation of IGF2BP3, therefore stabilizing HMGA2 mRNA and promoting tumor stemness and recurrence.

Endometrial cancer and ultrasound: why measuring endometrial thickness is sometimes not enough [PDF]

open access: yesUltrasound in Obstetrics & Gynecology, 2011
AbstractEndometrial cancer is the commonest cancer of the female genital tract in the developed world. Ultrasound measurement of endometrial thickness is commonly used to triage patients with postmenopausal bleeding for histological sampling. The sensitivity of ultrasound in diagnosing endometrial cancer is high, but it has a small, well‐defined false ...

SAV1 in Cooperation With FKBP52 Participates in Implantation

open access: yesAdvanced Science, EarlyView.
The MST‐SAV1 complex modulates FKBP52 phosphorylation to fine‐tune PR activity, ensuring timely uterine transition to receptivity under estrogen signaling for implantation. Stromal SAV1 scaffolds MST1/2‐mediated FKBP52 phosphorylation via noncanonical Hippo to promote PR activity.

Bi-potential hPSC-derived Müllerian duct-like cells for full-thickness and functional endometrium regeneration

open access: yesnpj Regenerative Medicine, 2022
Stem cell-based tissue regeneration strategies are promising treatments for severe endometrial injuries. However, there are few appropriate seed cells for regenerating a full-thickness endometrium, which mainly consists of epithelia and stroma. Müllerian
