Endophytic Fungi of Olive Tree [PDF]

open access: yesMicroorganisms, 2020
In addition to the general interest connected with investigations on biodiversity in natural contexts, more recently the scientific community has started considering occurrence of endophytic fungi in crops in the awareness of the fundamental role played by these microorganisms on plant growth and protection.

Terpenoids from Endophytic Fungi [PDF]

open access: yesMolecules, 2011
This work reviews the production of terpenoids by endophytic fungi and their biological activities, in period of 2006 to 2010. Sixty five sesquiterpenes, 45 diterpenes, five meroterpenes and 12 other terpenes, amounting to 127 terpenoids were isolated from endophytic fungi.

Endophytic fungi fromAmomum siamense [PDF]

open access: yesCanadian Journal of Microbiology, 2001
Endophytic fungi were isolated from apparently healthy organs of the wild ginger Amomum siamense Criab., including leaves, pseudostems, and rhizomes, collected from two sites in Doi Suthep-Pui National Park, Thailand. Endophytes were relatively common with an isolate prevalence of 70%–83% at the two sites sampled in the wet and dry seasons.

Endophytic fungi: a reservoir of antibacterials [PDF]

open access: yesFrontiers in Microbiology, 2015
Multidrug drug resistant bacteria are becoming increasingly problematic particularly in the under developed countries of the world. The most important microorganisms that have seen a geometric rise in numbers are Methicillin resistant Staphylococcus aureus, Vancomycin resistant Enterococcus faecium, Penicillin resistant Streptococcus pneumonia and ...
