Secondary Aortoduodenal Fistula Diagnosed after Repeated Gastrointestinal Bleeding Episodes in a Patient With Prior Aortic Graft Surgery

open access: yesDEN Open, Volume 6, Issue 1, April 2026.
Abstract Secondary aortoduodenal fistula (sADF) is a rare but life‐threatening complication after aortic graft surgery. Long‐Term Outcomes of Invasive vs Noninvasive Treatment for Intermittent Claudication: A Systematic Review and Meta‐Analysis

open access: yesCochrane Evidence Synthesis and Methods, Volume 3, Issue 6, November 2025.
In patients with leg pain from blocked arteries (intermittent claudication), this study shows that surgical procedures improve walking ability and blood flow more than exercise or medication alone but carry higher risks. The findings help guide doctors and patients in choosing the best treatment based on individual needs and risks.

Splenic Artery Aneurysm in Gaucher Disease: A Hybrid Study Combining Case Report, Scoping Review, and Clinical Survey

open access: yesJIMD Reports, Volume 66, Issue 6, November 2025.
ABSTRACT Gaucher disease (GD) is a rare lysosomal storage disorder caused by pathogenic variants in the GBA gene. Splenic artery aneurysm (SAA) is an uncommon and underrecognized complication of GD, particularly in the absence of traditional risk factors. SAA carries a high risk of rupture and significant mortality.
