Low-energy energetic neutral atom imaging of Io plasma and neutral tori [PDF]
Io's plasma and neutral tori play significant roles in the Jovian magnetosphere. We present feasibility studies of measuring low-energy energetic neutral atoms (LENAs) generated from the Io tori. We calculate the LENA flux between 10 eV and 3 keV.

Modeling energetic neutral atoms and the IBEX spectrum
AIP Conference Proceedings, 2012The interaction between the solar wind (SW) and the local interstellar medium (LISM) has been studied for decades, but has only recently been scrutinized using observational data. One such mission, NASA's Interstellar Boundary EXplorer (IBEX), has provided a wealth of new data that allows for a global picture of the heliospheric interface.

Deconvolution of Energetic Neutral Atom Images of the Earth's Magnetosphere
Space Science Reviews, 2000A method for deconvolving equatorial pitch angle distributions of energetic neutral atoms from images from the ENA instruments on the IMAGE satellite is described and illustrated using simulated data obtained from calculated models of ring current flux. The unknown flux is expanded in terms of cubic B-splines and Legendre polynomials.
