Characterization and Quantification of Depletion and Accumulation Layers in Solid-State Li+ -Conducting Electrolytes Using In Situ Spectroscopic Ellipsometry. [PDF]

open access: yesAdv Mater, 2021
Solid‐state electrolytes are one of the few battery technologies for next‐generation batteries. However, the high interface resistance in contact with electrode materials is still largely unexplained. Spectroscopic ellipsometry combined with in situ electrochemistry reveals highly asymmetric space charge layer occurrence.

Cellular interfaces with hydrogen-bonded organic semiconductor hierarchical nanocrystals [PDF]

open access: yesNature Communications, 2017
Nanomaterials that form a bioelectronic interface with cells are fascinating tools for controlling cellular behavior. Here, the authors photostimulate single cells with spiky assemblies of semiconducting quinacridone nanocrystals, whose nanoscale needles

Pr‐ and Co‐substitution in rare earth nickelates: Application as SOEC air electrodes

open access: yesFuel Cells, Volume 23, Issue 6, Page 387-398, December 2023., 2023
Abstract In this work, fundamental material properties of compounds in the system (La,Pr)2(Ni,Co)O4+δ as well as their performance as air electrodes in solid oxide electrolysis cells were investigated. Nickelates co‐doped with Pr and Co were characterized on a material basis by means of X‐ray diffraction and thermogravimetry.

Eddy current loss estimation for direct drive wind turbine generators with superconducting excitation winding by numerical and analytical models

open access: yesInternational Journal of Numerical Modelling: Electronic Networks, Devices and Fields, Volume 36, Issue 3, May/June 2023., 2023
Abstract Direct drive wind turbine generators with superconducting excitation winding are studied with focus on the electromagnetic damper design. A semi‐analytical eddy current model is built for parametric design studies based on a vector potential approach.

Dotierungs‐/Legierungswege zu bleifreien Halogenid‐Perowskiten mit ultimativen Photolumineszenz‐Quantenausbeuten

open access: yesAngewandte Chemie, Volume 135, Issue 3, January 16, 2023., 2023

Towards integrated wind farm control: Interfacing farm flow and power plant controls

open access: yesAdvanced Control for Applications, Volume 4, Issue 2, June 2022., 2022
Wind power plant control (WPPC) and wind farm flow control (WFFC) aretwo distinct concepts to control wind farms. Traditionally, WPPC is concernedwith the connection to the power system, compliance with grid codes, andprovision of power system services. WFFC considers aerodynamic turbineinteractions like wake effects.
