Revealing the structure of land plant photosystem II: the journey from negative‐stain EM to cryo‐EM
Advances in cryo‐EM have revealed the detailed structure of Photosystem II, a key protein complex driving photosynthesis. This review traces the journey from early low‐resolution images to high‐resolution models, highlighting how these discoveries deepen our understanding of light harvesting and energy conversion in plants.

We present evidences that defects in the spin S = 1/2 Heisenberg antiferromagnetic chain (HAFC) compound can lead to ferromagnetism by studying the magnetic and thermal properties of the newly discovered quasi-one-dimensional (1D) metal–organic framework

Fluorescent probes allow dynamic visualization of phosphoinositides in living cells (left), whereas mass spectrometry provides high‐sensitivity, isomer‐resolved quantitation (right). Their synergistic use captures complementary aspects of lipid signaling. This review illustrates how these approaches reveal the spatiotemporal regulation and quantitative

Models of Charged Gravastars in f(T)-Gravity
This study investigates three distinct charged gravastar models within the framework of fT modified gravity, considering the functional forms fT=T, fT=a+bT, and fT=T2.

Soldiers on military expeditions usually fail to compensate for the increase in energy expenditure, with potential deleterious consequences. We therefore analyzed the characteristics of energy compensation in 12 male soldiers, during a 15‐day expedition ...

Cosmological constraints on holographic dark energy models under the energy conditions
We study the holographic and agegraphic dark energy models without interaction using the latest observational Hubble parameter data (OHD), the Union2.1 compilation of type Ia supernovae (SNIa), and the energy conditions.

On final conditions in high energy heavy ion collisions [PDF]
Motivated by the recent experimental observations, we discuss the freeze-out properties of the fireball created in central heavy ion collisions. We find that the freeze-out conditions, like temperature, velocity gradient near center of the fireball, are ...

ENERGY CONDITIONS AND THEIR COSMOLOGICAL IMPLICATIONS [PDF]
The energy conditions of general relativity permit one to deduce very powerful and general theorems about the behaviour of strong gravitational fields and cosmological geometries. However, the energy conditions these theorems are based on are beginning to look a lot less secure than they once seemed: (1) there are subtle quantum effects that violate ...

Protein pyrophosphorylation by inositol pyrophosphates — detection, function, and regulation
Protein pyrophosphorylation is an unusual signaling mechanism that was discovered two decades ago. It can be driven by inositol pyrophosphate messengers and influences various cellular processes. Herein, we summarize the research progress and challenges of this field, covering pathways found to be regulated by this posttranslational modification as ...
