Conformal Thermoreversible Gelatin‐Based Gel for High‐Fidelity Electrophysiological Recording and Acute Peripheral Nerve Interfacing

open access: yesAdvanced Materials, EarlyView.
A thermoreversible gelatin‐based gel forms a soft, conformal bioelectronic interface on complex biological surfaces. The flowable precursor penetrates hair‐dense regions, solidifies in situ, and maintains low impedance through adaptive contact and hydration retention.

Energy balance for a dissipative system

Physical Review E, 1993
In general, dissipative problems involve both frictional and fluctuation forces. As it turns out, solutions of many of these problems are encompassed by the generalized quantum Langevin equation. Here, we use this equation to obtain a general expression for the work done by the fluctuation force on a quantum particle.

Energy Dissipation on Block Ramps

Journal of Hydraulic Engineering, 2006
Block ramps are structures often used in river restoration projects. They generally ensure a stable streambed and produce high energy dissipation. This paper shows the results of an experimental investigation conducted at the Hydraulic Laboratory of the Univ.
