In this study, we found that human cervical‐derived adipocytes maintain intracellular iron level by regulating the expression of iron transport‐related proteins during adrenergic stimulation. Melanotransferrin is predicted to interact with transferrin receptor 1 based on in silico analysis.

Symmetry Energy Dependence of Light Fragment Production in Heavy Ion Collisions
We study the pre-equilibrium light cluster emission in low to intermediate energy heavy ion collisions in transport simulations as a means to obtain information about the density and momentum dependence of the nuclear symmetry potential, i.e.

An isoform of 14‐3‐3 protein regulates transbilayer lipid movement at the plasma membrane
Loss of 14‐3‐3ζ in CHO cells confers resistance to exogenous phosphatidylserine (PS) and impairs endocytosis‐independent inward flip‐flop of fluorescent PS at the plasma membrane. RNAi‐mediated knockdown reproduces this defect, while no additive effect is seen in ATP11C‐deficient cells.

Conditional Probabilistic Model for Normalized Hysteretic Energy Given Ductility Ratios
Hysteretic energy, a critical component of seismic input energy, is predominantly dissipated through the hysteretic behavior of structural members in most conventional structures.

Influence of Skyrme-type interaction on HICs observables
A new version of the improved quantum molecular dynamics model has been developed by including Skyrme type momentum dependent interaction. 12 Skyrme like parameter sets {K0, S0, L, m*s, m*v} are adopted in the transport model code to calculate the ...

Wavelet energy ratio unit root tests [PDF]
ABSTRACTThis article uses wavelet theory to propose a frequency domain nonparametric and tuning parameter-free family of unit root tests. The proposed test exploits the wavelet power spectrum of the observed series and its fractional partial sum to construct a test of the unit root based on the ratio of the resulting scaling energies.

The ratio of charged-to-total energy in high-energy proton-proton interactions [PDF]
Abstract The ratio of charged-to-total energy in multiparticle hadronic systems produced in pp interactions has been measured. The analysis has been performed using our technique of subtracting the “leading” baryon effects. The results are compared with e + e − annihilation data.

The human gut microbiome across the life course
Despite significant individual variation and continuous change throughout life, the human gut microbiome follows some life stage‐specific trends. This article provides a brief overview of how gut microbiome composition shifts across different phases of life. Created in BioRender. Özkurt, E. (2026) https://BioRender.com/8q4nrnc.

Degradation mechanism of the von Willebrand factor A2 domain by nattokinase
Nattokinase, a natto‐derived protease, exhibits potent antithrombotic effects. This study demonstrates that nattokinase directly cleaves the von Willebrand factor (vWF) A2 domain in vitro. Unlike the native regulator ADAMTS13, nattokinase degrades folded vWF independently of shear stress.
