Spatio-temporal load shifting for truly clean computing

open access: yesAdvances in Applied Energy
Companies operating datacenters are increasingly committed to procuring renewable energy to reduce their carbon footprint, with a growing emphasis on achieving 24/7 Carbon-Free Energy (CFE) matching—eliminating carbon emissions from electricity use on an

Network divergence analysis identifies adaptive gene modules and two orthogonal vulnerability axes in pancreatic cancer

open access: yesMolecular Oncology, EarlyView.
Tumors contain diverse cellular states whose behavior is shaped by context‐dependent gene coordination. By comparing gene–gene relationships across biological contexts, we identify adaptive transcriptional modules that reorganize into distinct vulnerability axes.

Analysis of Mechanical Properties of Steel Tube Crossing Frame for Power Transmission Project

open access: yesMetals
In this study, compared with traditional scaffolds, the arrangement and structural dimensions of steel tubular crossing frames used in transmission engineering are significantly different, making it difficult to efficiently and accurately evaluate their ...

EDNRB‐dependent endothelin signaling reduces proliferation and promotes proneural‐to‐mesenchymal transition in gliomas

open access: yesMolecular Oncology, EarlyView.
Glioma cells mainly express the endothelin receptor EDNRB, while EDNRA is restricted to a perivascular tumor subpopulation. Endothelin signaling reduces glioma cell proliferation while promoting migration and a proneural‐to‐mesenchymal transition associated with poor prognosis. This pathway activates Ca2+, K+, ERK, and STAT3 signalings and is regulated

Impact of Power Quality on the Efficiency of the Mining Process

open access: yesEnergies
There are currently more than 30 underground mines operating in Poland. These are mines extracting hard coal, salt, and metal ores. Each of these plants has its own specifics for operation, but all operate under the same regulations.

Keratin 19 as a prognostic marker and contributing factor of metastasis and chemoresistance in high‐grade serous ovarian cancer

open access: yesMolecular Oncology, EarlyView.
Keratin 19 (KRT19) is overexpressed in high‐grade serous ovarian cancer with high levels of Kallikrein‐related peptidases (KLK) 4–7 and is associated with poor survival. In vivo analyses demonstrate that elevated KRT19 increases peritoneal tumour burden.

Mechanical Characteristics Analysis and Structural Optimization of Wheeled Multifunctional Motorized Crossing Frame

open access: yesApplied Sciences
Wheeled multifunctional motorized crossing frames represent a new type of crossing equipment for high-voltage transmission line construction. The initial design is too conservative, having a large safety margin and high material redundancy. Therefore, it

Hippo pathway at the crossroads of stemness and therapeutic resistance in breast cancer

open access: yesMolecular Oncology, EarlyView.
Dysregulation of the Hippo pathway drives nuclear accumulation of YAP/TAZ, activating stemness‐related transcriptional programs that sustain breast cancer stemness and fuel therapeutic resistance across subtypes, underscoring Hippo signaling as a targetable vulnerability. Figure created and edited with BioRender.com.

Water Electrolysis Facing the Gigawatt Challenge—Comprehensive De‐Risking of Proton Exchange Membrane and Anion Exchange Membrane Electrolyser Technology

open access: yesElectrochemical Science Advances
Green Hydrogen (H2) is generally considered to play a key role in enabling sustainable energy storage, as well as a renewable feedstock to various industrial sectors. Accordingly, the production of H2 by water electrolysis at an industrial scale is a key

Deciphering transcriptional plasticity in pancreatic ductal adenocarcinoma reveals alterations in sensory neuron innervation

open access: yesMolecular Oncology, EarlyView.
Pancreatic sensory neurons innervating healthy and PDAC tissue were retrogradely labeled and profiled by single‐cell RNA sequencing. Tumor‐associated innervation showed a dominant neurofilament‐positive subtype, altered mitochondrial gene signatures, and reduced non‐peptidergic neurons.
