Energy yield simulations of interconnected solar PV arrays
2003 IEEE Power Engineering Society General Meeting (IEEE Cat. No.03CH37491), 2002In this paper, the electrical characteristics of array interconnection schemes are investigated, using simulation models, tc find a configuration that is comparatively less susceptible to shadow problem and power degradation resulting from the aging of solar cells.

[Energy yield during physical exertion].
Wiener medizinische Wochenschrift (1946), 1985Every energy demanding process in the skeletal muscle is associated with the use of adenosinetriphosphate, the essential muscular high-energy phosphate. ATP is rephosphorylated by ADP (= adenosine diphosphate) and this process depends on the type, intensity and duration of the physical exercise.

Energy yield ratio and cumulative energy demand for wind energy converters
Energy, 2004The cumulative energy demand and the energy yield ratio can be seen as an indicator of environmental impacts to estimate the depletion of energy resources considering a whole lifecycle. For two wind energy converters (1.5 and 0.5 MW) these figures have been calculated. For calculating energy yield ratio, the yearly energy output of three sites has been

The assessment of the performance of a wind turbine is frequently a cause of heated discussion. As is the case with all systems which utilise solar energy, the parameters borrowed from conventional energy technology are only applicable to a limited extent.

Fission product yields at intermediate energy
AIP Conference Proceedings, 1998The results of experimental and theoretical studies of fission product yields in proton-induced fission of 238U are presented. The yields of neutron-rich Ni, Cu, Zn, Ga and Ge—isotopes were measured by 25 MeV protons and the ion guide-based isotope separator technique.
