Inconsistent Transcriptomic Responses to Hexabromocyclododecane in Japanese Quail: A Comparative Analysis of Results From Four Different Study Designs

open access: yesEnvironmental Toxicology and Chemistry, EarlyView.
Abstract Efforts to use transcriptomics for toxicity testing have classically relied on the assumption that chemicals consistently produce characteristic transcriptomic signatures that are reflective of their mechanism of action. However, the degree to which transcriptomic responses are conserved across different test methodologies has seldom been ...

Challenges to parental engagement in K‐12 online learning during the pandemic: Lessons learned and a tripartite model for future involvement

open access: yesFuture in Educational Research, EarlyView.
Abstract Online learning became a central feature of education during the COVID‐19 pandemic, as traditional classrooms were rapidly replaced by virtual environments within students' homes through platforms such as Zoom. This abrupt transition required parents of K‐12 students to assume the unfamiliar role of at‐home educators, often without adequate ...

Fabric to energy storage via oxygen‐tuned graphene engineered by laser crafting

open access: yesFlexMat, EarlyView.
A one‐step laser‐scribing process produces balanced oxygen‐functionalized graphene directly on Kevlar fabric for flexible energy storage. By tuning laser power and speed, the balance between graphitization and oxygen groups is optimized to enhance potassium‐ion adsorption.
