Study on the Surveillance System of Water Stage Used the Resonator Pressure Transducer and Wireless Connectivity

open access: yesMATEC Web of Conferences, 2018
For the sake of ameliorating the faultiness of low precision for conventional surveillance methods of water stage, and realize the goal of real time data collection, automated actions and long-distance conveying, we have designed a novel surveillance ...

Damage assessment of shear wall components for RC frame–shear wall buildings using story curvature as engineering demand parameter

open access: yesEngineering Structures, 2019
Abstract Reinforced concrete (RC) frame–shear wall structures are extensively used in urban areas. As a major part of the lateral load resisting system, the shear wall is a key component for the seismic performance assessment of such structures. In this study, a method for the seismic damage assessment of shear wall components is proposed by using ...

A novel quinazolinone insulin receptor inhibitor and its synergy with an EGFR inhibitor in glucose‐driven glioblastoma

open access: yesMolecular Oncology, EarlyView.
The novel styrylquinazolinone‐based molecule W1B effectively suppresses glioblastoma by inhibiting IGF1R and EGFR. In high‐glucose microenvironments driving tumor resistance, W1B acts synergistically with the EGFR inhibitor dacomitinib. This combination safely blocks compensatory survival signaling in zebrafish xenograft models. Showcasing promising in

Spatial and single‐nuclei transcriptomics reveals idiosyncratic and generic patterns in papillary and anaplastic thyroid cancers

open access: yesMolecular Oncology, EarlyView.
Matched spatial transcriptomics and single‐nuclei RNA‐seq were generated for anaplastic and BRAFV600E papillary thyroid cancers revealing generic and tumor‐specific states occurring in cancer cells and in the tumor microenvironment. In this context, cancer dedifferentiation mirrored organoid maturation through ordered thyroid marker gain/loss ...

Inhibition of cyclin‐dependent kinases 12/13 using CT7439 as a treatment for colorectal cancer with CDK12 upregulation

open access: yesMolecular Oncology, EarlyView.
The proposed mechanism of action for the CDK12/13 inhibitor and cyclin K degrader, CT7439. CDK12/13 inhibition interrupts transcription elongation, leading to increased DNA damage that results in cell death. This agent is a potentially novel treatment option for patients with colorectal cancer. Created in BioRender. Cyclin‐dependent kinase (CDK) 12 and

Assessment of Collapse Approach Based on Pre-established Engineering Demand Parameters (EDP)s Limits

open access: yesJournal of Civil & Environmental Engineering, 2016
Traditionally, collapse potential was estimated by using non-deteriorating systems in order to predict the Engineering Demand Parameters (EDPs) and assigning judgment limits for these parameters. Recently, the deteriorating systems have been used for estimation of collapse but still based on pre-established EDPs limits.
