We compared the diet and assessed geographic and seasonal variations in the isotopic niches of red‐footed boobies across three Indian Ocean atolls. Our results demonstrate plasticity in both diet and trophic niche, likely driven by local environmental conditions, breeding stages, and colony‐specific factors.

Mode of miniaturisation influences body shape evolution in New World anchovies (Engraulidae) [PDF]
AbstractWe explored the macroevolutionary dynamics of miniaturisation in New World anchovies by integrating a time‐calibrated phylogeny, geometric morphometrics and phylogenetic comparative methods. We found that the paedomorphic species Amazonsprattus scintilla occupies a novel region of shape space, while the dwarf species Anchoviella manamensis has ...

A Review of the South Pacific Tuna Baitfisheries: Small Pelagic Fisheries Associated with Coral-Reefs [PDF]
A review is given of current information concerning small pelagic fishes exploited for tuna bait in the South Pacific. These fishes are usually caught over or near coral reefs using light attraction and lift nets.

ABSTRACT This study investigates the widespread degradation of river ecosystems in Bangladesh and its impact on fish biodiversity and identifies potential strategies for ecosystem restoration. Combining community perceptions from focus group discussions (FGDs) with fish market study for spatial analyses of fish species diversity across the Barak–Meghna,
