Distribution characteristics and enrichment mechanism of TDS geothermal water in Xining Basin

open access: yes地质科技通报, 2022
The high concentration of TDS in most of the geothermal water in Xining Basin greatly restricted the availability of geothermal water. In order to provide reference value for the later development and utilization of geothermal resources, the enrichment ...

Influence of enriched environment on anxiety-related behavior in evidence and mechanisms

open access: yesStress and Brain, 2021
Anxiety disorders are one of the most prevalent mental disorders that are in a great demand of developing new treatments. Both genetic and environmental factors play essential roles in the pathophysiology of anxiety disorders. Increasing evidence implicates environmental enrichment that shapes neural plasticity exerts beneficial effects on anxiety ...

Enrichment experiment of ventilation air methane (0.5%) by the mechanical tower [PDF]

open access: yesScientific Reports, 2020
AbstractMethane is one of the most important gases leading to the earth’s air pollution. Ventilation air methane(VAM) is an important part of the gas discharged into the atmosphere. The volume concentration of methane is generally less than 0.5% in coal mines. Recycling low concentration is facing challenges.

Spatiotemporal and quantitative analyses of phosphoinositides – fluorescent probe—and mass spectrometry‐based approaches

open access: yesFEBS Letters, EarlyView.
Fluorescent probes allow dynamic visualization of phosphoinositides in living cells (left), whereas mass spectrometry provides high‐sensitivity, isomer‐resolved quantitation (right). Their synergistic use captures complementary aspects of lipid signaling. This review illustrates how these approaches reveal the spatiotemporal regulation and quantitative

Enrichment Mechanism and Prospects of Deep Oil and Gas

open access: yesActa Geologica Sinica - English Edition, 2022
AbstractWith the deepening of oil and gas exploration, the importance of depth is increasingly highlighted. The risk of preservation of storage space in deep reservoirs is greater than that in shallow and medium layers. Deep layers mean older strata, more complex structural evolution and more complex hydrocarbon accumulation processes, and even ...

Phosphatidylinositol 4‐kinase as a target of pathogens—friend or foe?

open access: yesFEBS Letters, EarlyView.
This graphical summary illustrates the roles of phosphatidylinositol 4‐kinases (PI4Ks). PI4Ks regulate key cellular processes and can be hijacked by pathogens, such as viruses, bacteria and parasites, to support their intracellular replication. Their dual role as essential host enzymes and pathogen cofactors makes them promising drug targets.

Massive dolomitization driven by MgSO-rich seawater and its effects on thermochemical sulfate reduction, Upper Permian Changxing Formation, northeastern Sichuan, China

open access: yesEnergy Exploration & Exploitation, 2022
Massive dolostones replacing build-ups and containing H2S of thermochemical sulfate reduction (TSR) origin occur in the Upper Permian reef and bank deposits, northeastern Sichuan, China, despite the absence of gypsum or anhydrite deposits, which are ...

Protein pyrophosphorylation by inositol pyrophosphates — detection, function, and regulation

open access: yesFEBS Letters, EarlyView.
Protein pyrophosphorylation is an unusual signaling mechanism that was discovered two decades ago. It can be driven by inositol pyrophosphate messengers and influences various cellular processes. Herein, we summarize the research progress and challenges of this field, covering pathways found to be regulated by this posttranslational modification as ...
