Enthalpy of Combustion of RJ-6.

1979
Abstract : In cooperation with the Air Force Office of Scientific Research, this laboratory has studied compounds that may be used to impart particular properties to fuels such as high enthalpy of combustion per unit volume or per unit mass. This report concerns the ramjet fuel RJ-6. (Author)

The enthalpy of formation of 1,1,1-trichloroethane from enthalpy of combustion and equilibrium studies

The Journal of Chemical Thermodynamics, 1972
Abstract The equilibrium constant for the reaction of vinylidene chloride and hydrogen chloride to form 1,1,1-trichloroethane at temperatures from 348 to 399 K has been determined. The results are incompatible with the published enthalpy of combustion of 1,1,1-trichloroethane.

Enthalpies of combustion of each of the two bromonaphthalenes

The Journal of Chemical Thermodynamics, 1993
Abstract The standard ( p ° = 0.1 MPa) molar enthalpies of combustion in oxygen at the temperature 298.15 K of the two bromonaphthalenes to form CO 2 (g), H 2 O(l), and Br 2 (l) were measured by rotating-bomb calorimetry. The standard molar enthalpy of sublimation at the temperature 198.15 K of 2-bromonaphthalene was measured by microcalorimetry ...

Enthalpies of combustion of two bis(N,N-diethylthioureas)

The Journal of Chemical Thermodynamics, 2007
Abstract The standard (p∘ = 0.1 MPa) molar energies of combustion in oxygen, at T = 298.15 K, of two crystalline bis(N,N-diethylthioureas) R(CONHCSNEt2)2: pyridine-2,6-dicarbonyl-bis(N,N-diethylthiourea), R = pyridyl, abbreviated as (bis-py-DETU), and adipoyl-dicarbonyl-bis(N,N-diethylthiourea), R = (CH2)4, abbreviated as (bis-ad-DETU), were measured

Investigation on the Transient Enthalpy of Coal Combustion

2012
The transient enthalpy (Δh) of coal/char combustion of the three different coals (including anthracite, bituminous, and lignite) during the process of combustion is determined as a function of burn-off degree by using thermo-gravimetric-differential scanning calorimeter (TG-DSC) simultaneous thermal analyzer, and The error of determining calorific ...

Enthalpies of combustion and formation of fullerene C70 by isoperibolic combustion calorimetry

The Journal of Chemical Thermodynamics, 2004
Abstract A micro static-bomb combustion calorimeter developed from a 1107 Parr semi-micro bomb, has been used for the measurement of the enthalpy of combustion of the fullerene C70, yielding ΔcUom (cr, T=298.15 K)=−(30099.7 ± 56.9) kJ · mol−1. The enthalpy of formation in the gas phase is derived from the experimental results and from literature data.
