Nonexistence of radial entire solutions of elliptic systems
The author considers the quasi-variational ordinary differential system \[ [\nabla G(u,u')]'- \nabla_u G(u,u')+ Q(t, u,u')= f(t,u) \] on \(J= (T,\infty)\), \(T\geq 0\), where \(\nabla= \nabla_u\) denotes the gradient operator with respect to the second variable of the function \(G\).

Entire solutions of quasilinear symmetric systems [PDF]
We study the following quasilinear elliptic system for all $i=1,\cdots,m$ \begin{equation*} \label{} -div( '(|\nabla u_i|^2) \nabla u_i) = H_i(u) \quad \text{in} \ \ \mathbb{R}^n \end{equation*} where $u=(u_i)_{i=1}^m: \mathbb R^n\to \mathbb R^m$ and the nonlinearity $ H_i(u) \in C^1(\mathbb R^m)\to \mathbb R$ is a general nonlinearity.

Multiple ETS family transcription factors bind mutant p53 via distinct interaction regions
Mutant p53 gain‐of‐function is thought to be mediated by interaction with other transcription factors. We identify multiple ETS transcription factors that can bind mutant p53 and found that this interaction can be promoted by a PXXPP motif. ETS proteins that strongly bound mutant p53 were upregulated in ovarian cancer compared to ETS proteins that ...

The newfound relationship between extrachromosomal DNAs and excised signal circles
Extrachromosomal DNAs (ecDNAs) contribute to the progression of many human cancers. In addition, circular DNA by‐products of V(D)J recombination, excised signal circles (ESCs), have roles in cancer progression but have largely been overlooked. In this Review, we explore the roles of ecDNAs and ESCs in cancer development, and highlight why these ...

Large energy entire solutions for the Yamabe equation
The paper under review deals with the construction of finite energy solutions to the Yamabe equation in the whole space \({\mathbb R}^n\). The authors develop an approach which provides examples of non-radial solutions in all dimensions \(n \geq 3\), at the same time providing fine knowledge on the core asymptotic behavior.

Cryptochrome and PAS/LOV proteins play intricate roles in circadian clocks where they act as both sensors and mediators of protein–protein interactions. Their ubiquitous presence in signaling networks has positioned them as targets for small‐molecule therapeutics. This review provides a structural introduction to these protein families.

This study reveals how the mitochondrial protein Slm35 is regulated in Saccharomyces cerevisiae. The authors identify stress‐responsive DNA elements and two upstream open reading frames (uORFs) in the 5′ untranslated region of SLM35. One uORF restricts translation, and its mutation increases Slm35 protein levels and mitophagy.

Entire solutions to reaction diffusion equations
In this paper, we first use the super-sub solution method to prove the local exponential asymptotic stability of some entire solutions to reaction diffusion equations, including the bistable and monostable cases. In the bistable case, we not only obtain the similar asymptotic stability result given by Yagisita in 2003, but also simplify his proof.

Decaying positive entire solutions of the $p$-Laplacian [PDF]
The paper deals with the problem \[ \text{div}(|\nabla u|^{p- 2}\nabla u)+ f(x, u, \nabla u)= 0 \] in \(\mathbb{R}^N\), where \(1< p< N\), \(N\geq 3\). The author employes the classical Schauder fixed point theorem and the subsolution-supersolution technique for the \(p\)-Laplacian.

In situ molecular organization and heterogeneity of the Legionella Dot/Icm T4SS
We present a nearly complete in situ model of the Legionella Dot/Icm type IV secretion system, revealing its central secretion channel and identifying new components. Using cryo‐electron tomography with AI‐based modeling, our work highlights the structure, variability, and mechanism of this complex nanomachine, advancing understanding of bacterial ...
