Intraoperative Molecular Imaging Can Detect Large Nerve Perineural Invasion: A Case Report

open access: yesHead &Neck, EarlyView.
ABSTRACT Background Perineural invasion (PNI) in head and neck squamous cell carcinoma (SCC) results in worse overall survival. Diagnosis requires resection and microscopic evaluation. Methods A 63‐year‐old male with persistent cT4aN0 p16‐positive SCC of the left base of tongue following chemoradiotherapy underwent salvage total glossectomy ...

Mapping the Global Clinical Landscape of Pharmacological Therapies for Heart Failure With Preserved Ejection Fraction: An Analysis Based on ClinicalTrials.gov (2003–2025)

open access: yesiMetaMed, EarlyView.
This study analyzed 236 heart failure with preserved ejection fraction (HFpEF) pharmacological trials registered on ClinicalTrials.gov from 2003 to 2025, revealing a post‐2016 surge (76.3%), U.S. dominance (58.5%), and prominence of SGLT2 inhibitors/novel therapies (each 13.1%).

New Drain Spacing Formulas Using the Variational Iteration Method

open access: yesIrrigation and Drainage, EarlyView.
ABSTRACT In this study, the drain spacing is computed using the variational iteration method (VIM) to the linearized Boussinesq equation. By applying at most two iterations of the VIM method under three different initial condition scenarios, three equations for drain spacing calculation were derived. These equations predict values of drain spacing that

Comparison Between Respiratory‐Triggered and Free‐Breathing Signal Acquisition Methods for Single‐Voxel Phosphorus Magnetic Resonance Spectroscopy of the Liver on a Clinical System

open access: yesJournal of Magnetic Resonance Imaging, EarlyView.
ABSTRACT Background The optimal protocol for clinical liver 31P‐magnetic resonance spectroscopy (MRS) remains unclear. Single‐voxel 31P‐MRS using image‐selected in vivo spectroscopy (ISIS) employs respiratory‐triggering (RT) or free‐breathing (FB) acquisition.

Clinical Efficacy and Safety of Topical Roflumilast in Psoriasis: An Updated Systematic Review and Meta‐Analysis of Randomized Controlled Trials

open access: yesJEADV Clinical Practice, EarlyView.
ABSTRACT Background Traditional first‐line topical treatments for plaque psoriasis, particularly corticosteroids and vitamin D analogs, frequently have only limited efficacy for long‐term use, and present difficulties with safety and adherence. Objectives In this systematic review and meta‐analysis of randomized controlled trials (RCTs), we assessed ...

New Biologic and Small Molecule Therapies for Hidradenitis Suppurativa

open access: yesJEADV Clinical Practice, EarlyView.
ABSTRACT Hidradenitis suppurativa (HS) is an inflammatory skin disease that has historically been underdiagnosed and, until recently, under‐researched. Furthermore, the pathophysiology of HS is complex, and not fully understood. Just three biologic medications—adalimumab (anti‐TNF‐α), secukinumab (anti‐IL17A) and bimekizumab (anti‐IL17A/F) are licensed

Do Medication Beliefs Influence Adherence to Topical Therapies in Patients With Atopic Dermatitis?

open access: yesJEADV Clinical Practice, EarlyView.
ABSTRACT Background Atopic dermatitis (AD) is a chronic inflammatory skin condition affecting 10–20% of the global population and is characterized by red, itchy, and dry skin. While consistent medication adherence is necessary for adequate management of AD, patients' adherence to topical therapies can decline by 70% within initial days of treatment ...

Effect of HBr on Explosion Limits of Stoichiometric Hydrogen‐oxygen Mixture

open access: yesInternational Journal of Chemical Kinetics, EarlyView.
ABSTRACT This work, based on numerical simulations, discusses the effect of HBr as an inhibitor on the explosion limit of stoichiometric hydrogen‐oxygen gas mixture in a closed spherical vessel. The numerical simulation solves the complete governing equations for mass, momentum, species and energy.

Multi‐Targeting Ligands as Prospective Therapeutics for Alzheimer's Disease, a Prevalent Neurodegenerative Disorder: Mechanistic Insights, Emerging Targets and Drug Discovery Campaigns

open access: yesMedicinal Research Reviews, EarlyView.
ABSTRACT Alzheimer's disease (AD) is a debilitating neurodegenerative condition characterized by progressive cognitive impairment, memory deterioration, and neuronal dysfunction. Its complex pathophysiology involves multiple interlinked processes, including amyloid‐β (Aβ) aggregation, tau hyperphosphorylation, oxidative stress, neuroinflammation ...
