APPLICATION OF TWO EDUCATIONAL THEORIES IN THE CLASSROOM
Teaching is a complex phenomenon and needs a specific framework. Subjective ideas would dominate in the absence of a predetermined framework. Teaching and learning theories provide a systematic framework for instruction.

Phase Engineering of Atomically Precise Nanoclusters (APNCs) of Gold and Beyond
Engineering the structural phase of materials is of paramount importance for both fundamental research and practical applications. In this Review, we summarize the recent progress in controlling the phases of atomically precise nanoclusters (APNCs) of gold, silver and copper, as well as bimetallic systems. The phase‐enabled material properties of APNCs

THE INCREASE OF PERFORMANCE OF AN ENTITY BY THE CONVERSION OF THE HIDDEN COSTS [PDF]
This article offers an intrinsic image of the hidden and identified costs at thelevel of an entity, including the causes and their ways of control. The main researchinstrument used here was the questionnaire and the results determined a better knowledge ...

Optimising Selective Sampling for Bootstrapping Named Entity Recognition [PDF]
Training a statistical named entity recognition system in a new domain requires costly manual annotation of large quantities of in-domain data. Active learning promises to reduce the annotation cost by selecting only highly informative data points.

Trions as Fundamental Species in Chemically Doped Polymer Semiconductors
This work shows that exciton–charge carrier coupling in doped polymer semiconductors gives rise to multi‐particle states, including trions—quasiparticles consisting of two holes and one electron under p‐doping—and bound exciton‐hole pairs, as identified through spectroscopic and theoretical analysis.

Closed‐Loop Solid‐State Synthesis Planning for Materials Discovery With Large Language Models
Leveraging literature data, we build a large‐language‐model‐driven workflow that extracts synthesis steps from 4407 papers, retrieves similar precedents, and generates candidate solid‐state synthesis recipes. The system benchmarks against ground‐truth and then operates in a closed loop with experiments to synthesize oxy‐selenide electrolyte materials ...

This study demonstrates the combination of magnetic nanoparticles and functional blowing agents into supraparticles. Upon induction heating, they actuate via rapid gas generation or extensive volume expansion. These supraparticles lift up to 25 000 times their own mass and rapidly open cured epoxy resins, providing a versatile strategy for fast micron ...
