This study demonstrates that cholesterol in messenger RNA‐lipid nanoparticles (mRNA‐LNPs) can be completely replaced with an immunopotentiating lipid, i.e., a synthetic analogue of the C‐type lectin receptor agonist monomycoloyl glycerol (MMG‐1), without compromising physicochemical properties, in vivo transfection efficiency, and immunogenicity of the

Drug entrapment in liposomes [PDF]
Treatment of human disorders by the direct administration of drugs can be hampered by immunological reactions, development of drug resistance, uptake of drugs by non-diseased tissues often leading to serious side effects, or even by the inability of some drugs to penetrate target cells.

Gastropod-derived haemocyte extracellular traps entrap metastrongyloid larval stages of Angiostrongylus vasorum, Aelurostrongylus abstrusus and Troglostrongylus brevior [PDF]
Background: Phagocyte-derived extracellular traps (ETs) were recently demonstrated mainly in vertebrate hosts as an important effector mechanism against invading parasites.

Wood‐based broadband blackbody is achieved by reconfiguration of wood with lignin nanoparticles prior carbonization. Neglectable reflectivity from the visible to infrared wavelengths is obtained by combining thin nanostructures originated from the wood cell walls with long‐range microcavities in the wood lumina.
