The field of mathematics that studies the relationship between algebraic structures and graphs is known as algebraic graph theory. It incorporates concepts from graph theory, which examines the characteristics and topology of graphs, with those from ...

Computing the topological entropy of general one-dimensional maps [PDF]
A matrix-theoretic method for computing the topological entropy of continuous, piecewise monotonic maps of the interval is presented. The method results in a constructive procedure which is easily implemented on the computer. Examples for families of unimodal, nonunimodal and discontinuous maps are presented.

Effective entropy of quantum fields coupled with gravity
Entanglement entropy, or von Neumann entropy, quantifies the amount of uncertainty of a quantum state. For quantum fields in curved space, entanglement entropy of the quantum field theory degrees of freedom is well-defined for a fixed background geometry.

Vertex-Based Topological Indices of Double and Strong Double Graph of Dutch Windmill Graph
A measurement of the molecular topology of graphs is known as a topological index, and several physical and chemical properties such as heat formation, boiling point, vaporization, enthalpy, and entropy are used to characterize them.

The quantification of human brain functional (re)configurations across varying cognitive demands remains an unresolved topic. We propose that such functional configurations may be categorized into three different types: (a) network configural breadth, (b)

Anomalies, black strings and the charged Cardy formula
We derive the general anomaly polynomial for a class of two-dimensional CFTs arising as twisted compactifications of a higher-dimensional theory on compact manifolds ℳ d , including the contribution of the isometries of ℳ d .

The generalized entropy in the generalized topological spaces
The authors study the generalized entropy of selfmaps, multi-selfmaps and selfmaps of the power set of a generalized topological space. They also establish a connection between generalized and standard entropy for usual selfmaps of a compact metric space and they show that the generalized entropy is a lower estimate of the standard entropy.

The universal property of the entropy sum of black holes in all dimensions
It is proposed by Cvetic et al. [1] that the product of all horizon areas for general rotating multi-change black holes has universal expressions independent of the mass.

Thermodynamics of random reaction networks. [PDF]
Reaction networks are useful for analyzing reaction systems occurring in chemistry, systems biology, or Earth system science. Despite the importance of thermodynamic disequilibrium for many of those systems, the general thermodynamic properties of ...
