Separating the Role of Mixing‐Entropy on the Dynamics of Glass‐Forming Liquids
While the concept of high entropy has gained prominence in materials design, disentangling specific impacts of entropy on material properties from the enthalpy of mixing remains elusive.

Effect of chemotherapy on passenger mutations in metastatic colorectal cancer
Changes in passenger mutation load and predicted immunotherapy response after chemotherapy treatment. Tumor cells rich with passenger mutations have increased sensitivity to chemotherapy. Correlation of passenger mutations with neoantigen load suggests highly mutated clones promote a more effective response to immunotherapy, and therefore, first‐line ...

Theoretical investigation of mixing properties of Sb-Sn binary liquid alloy at 905K
The thermodynamic, microscopic, surface and transport properties of Sb-Sn liquid alloy at 905K have been studied using regular solution model. In thermodynamic properties, free energy of mixing(GM) , activity(a), entropy of mixing(SM), heat of mixing ...

We developed and validated a DNA methylation–based biomarker panel to distinguish pleural mesothelioma from other pleural conditions. Using the IMPRESS technology, we translated this panel into a clinically applicable assay. The resulting two classifier models demonstrated excellent performance, achieving high AUC values and strong diagnostic accuracy.

Next‐generation proteomics improves lung cancer risk prediction
This is one of very few studies that used prediagnostic blood samples from participants of two large population‐based cohorts. We identified, evaluated, and validated an innovative protein marker model that outperformed an established risk prediction model and criteria employed by low‐dose computed tomography in lung cancer screening trials.

Entropies in Alloy Design for High-Entropy and Bulk Glassy Alloys
High-entropy (H-E) alloys, bulk metallic glasses (BMGs) and high-entropy BMGs (HE-BMGs) were statistically analyzed with the help of a database of ternary amorphous alloys.

Entropy of Mixing of Triglycerides Oil
Using the model of the perfect solutions or the regular solutions, mathematical equations were derived for the approximation of the entropy of mixing of triglyceride oils, or fatty oil that is the solution of multicomponent of triglyceride species. The molar entropy of mixing of triglyceride oils entirely depends upon the triglyceride structures; namely,

The LINC01116 long noncoding RNA is induced by hypoxia and associated with poor prognosis and high recurrence rates in two cohorts of lung adenocarcinoma patients. Here, we demonstrate that besides its expression in cancer cells, LINC01116 is markedly expressed in lymphatic endothelial cells of the tumor stroma in which it participates in hypoxia ...

Pharmacologic ascorbate (vitamin C) increases ROS, disrupts cellular metabolism, and induces DNA damage in CRPC cells. These effects sensitize tumors to PARP inhibition, producing synergistic growth suppression with olaparib in vitro and significantly delayed tumor progression in vivo. Pyruvate rescue confirms ROS‐dependent activity.
