Research on affine equivalence enumeration of the three families vectorial function

open access: yesTongxin xuebao, 2017
In recent years,Qu-Tan-Tan-Li function,Zha-Hu-Sun function and Tang-Carlet-Tang function have been proposed with differential uniformity 4 and many good cryptographic properties.the counting problem of affine equivalent to the three families ...

In vivo evidence for glycyl radical insertion into a catalytically inactive variant of pyruvate formate‐lyase

open access: yesFEBS Letters, EarlyView.
Dimeric pyruvate formate‐lyase cleaves pyruvate using a radical‐based mechanism. G734 serves as a radical storage location, and the radical is transferred to the catalytic C419 residue. Mutation of the C418‐C419 pair causes loss of enzyme activity, but does not impede radical introduction onto G734. Therefore, cis‐ but not trans‐radical transfer occurs

P‐glycoprotein modulates the fluidity gradient of the plasma membrane of multidrug resistant CHO cells

open access: yesFEBS Letters, EarlyView.
To explore the impact of the overexpression of the multidrug‐transporter P‐glycoprotein (ABCB1) on membrane fluidity, we compared the transversal gradient of mobility and microviscosity in plasma membranes of drug‐sensitive Chinese hamster ovary cells (AuxB1) and their multidrug‐resistant derivatives (B30) using the fluorescent n‐(9‐anthroyloxy) fatty ...

Quantum shadow enumerators [PDF]

open access: yesIEEE Transactions on Information Theory, 1999
In a recent paper [quant-ph/9610040], Shor and Laflamme define two ``weight enumerators'' for quantum error correcting codes, connected by a MacWilliams transform, and use them to give a linear-programming bound for quantum codes. We extend their work by introducing another enumerator, based on the classical theory of shadow codes, that tightens their ...

Evolutionary interplay between viruses and R‐loops

open access: yesFEBS Letters, EarlyView.
Viruses interact with specialized nucleic acid structures called R‐loops to influence host transcription, epigenetic states, latency, and immune evasion. This Perspective examines the roles of R‐loops in viral replication, integration, and silencing, and how viruses co‐opt or avoid these structures.

Enumerating the rationals

open access: yes, 2006
We present a series of programs for enumerating the rational numbers without duplication, drawing on some elegant results of Neil Calkin, Herbert Wilf and Moshe Newman.

Enumeration of hypergraphs

open access: yesDiscrete Mathematics, 1983
Formulae for the generating functions for hypergraphs, dihypergraphs, oriented hypergraphs, selfcomplementary directed hypergraphs and self complementary hypergraphs are presented here.

Disruption of SETD3‐mediated histidine‐73 methylation by the BWCFF‐associated β‐actin G74S mutation

open access: yesFEBS Letters, EarlyView.
The β‐actin G74S mutation causes altered interaction of actin with SETD3, reducing histidine‐73 methylation efficiency and forming two distinct actin variants. The variable ratio of these variants across cell types and developmental stages contributes to tissue‐specific phenotypical changes. This imbalance may impair actin dynamics and mechanosensitive

Enumeration, isolation, and identification of bifidobacteria from dairy products

open access: yesActa Agriculturae Slovenica, 2004
Six dairy products were tested. Bifidobacteria were enumerated and isolated using TPY agar modified by the addition of mupirocin (100 mg l–1). Isolates were identified to the genus level by the detection of fructose-6-phosphate phosphoketolase (F6PPK ...

Purification tags markedly affect self‐aggregation of CPEB3

open access: yesFEBS Letters, EarlyView.
Although recombinant proteins are used to study protein aggregation in vitro, uncleaved tags can interfere with accurate interpretation. Our findings demonstrate that His₆‐GFP and His₁₂ tags significantly affect liquid droplet and amyloid fibril formation in the intrinsically disordered region (IDR) of mouse cytoplasmic polyadenylation element‐binding ...
