A note on envelopes of holomorphy [PDF]
Let $p:X\longrightarrow M$ be a Riemann domain over a connected $n$-dimensional complex submanifold $M$ of $\mathbb C^N$ and let $\mathcal F\subset\mathcal O(X)$ be such that $p\in\mathcal F^N$.

Envelopes of holomorphy and holomorphic discs [PDF]
The envelope of holomorphy of an arbitrary domain in a two-dimensional Stein manifold is identified with a connected component of the set of equivalence classes of analytic discs immersed into the Stein manifold with boundary in the domain. This implies,

Envelopes of holomorphy of Hartogs and circular domains [PDF]
The classical problem of the univalence and description of the envelope of holomorphy of a domain in \({\mathbb{C}}^ n\) is investigated: the classes of Hartogs and circular domains are taken into consideration. In the Hartogs case preceding results are improved and completed.

Envelope of holomorphy for boundary cross sets [PDF]
Let $D\subset \C^n,$ $G\subset \C^m$ be open sets, let $A$ (resp. $B$) be a subset of the boundary $\partial D$ (resp. $\partial G$) and let $W$ be the 2-fold boundary cross $((D\cup A)\times B)\cup (A\times(B\cup G)).$ An open subset $X\subset\C ...

Topological criteria for schlichtness [PDF]
We give two sufficient criteria for schlichtness of envelopes of holomorphy in terms of topology. These are weakened converses of results of Kerner and Royden. Our first criterion generalizes a result of Hammond in dimension 2.

Complex retractions and envelopes of holomorphy [PDF]
In this paper we show that if a domain Ω \Omega of a Stein manifold X X is a "holomorphic deformation retract" of a domain of holomorphy D ⊆ X D \subseteq X , then Ω \Omega has a univalent envelope of holomorphy Ω

Extension Phenomena for Holomorphic Geometric Structures [PDF]
The most commonly encountered types of complex analytic G-structures and Cartan geometries cannot have singularities of complex codimension 2 or more.Comment: published ...

Envelopes of holomorphy and holomorphic convexity [PDF]
This paper is primarily a study of generalized notions of envelope of holomorphy and holomorphic convexity for special (algebraically restricted) subsets of C n {{\mathbf {C}}^n} and in part for arbitrary subsets of

Weak‐star closures of Gleason parts in the spectrum of a function algebra are studied. These closures relate to the bidual algebra and turn out both closed and open subsets of a compact hyperstonean space. Moreover, weak‐star closures of the corresponding bands of measures are reducing.

Schlicht Envelopes of Holomorphy and Foliations by Lines [PDF]
Version 2: Terminology revised and title changed in view of information about the origins of what we now call "the schlichtness lemma" that we didn't have when we finished version 1. Version 3: A few minor changes.
