Environmental attitudes of European tourists: A multilevel analysis [PDF]

open access: yes, 2015
Literature shows that heterogeneity in willingness to pay for traveling is explained by regional clusters because not all the tourists are equally sensitive to income and price adjustments.

Robotic Control for Human–Robot Collaborative Assembly Based on Digital Human Model and Reinforcement Learning

open access: yesAdvanced Robotics Research, EarlyView.
This work presents a robotic control method for human–robot collaborative assembly based on a biomechanics‐constrained digital human model. Reinforcement learning is used to generate physiologically plausible human motion trajectories, which are integrated into a virtual environment for robot control learning.

Multimodal Human–Robot Interaction Using Human Pose Estimation and Local Large Language Models

open access: yesAdvanced Robotics Research, EarlyView.
A multimodal human–robot interaction framework integrates human pose estimation (HPE) and a large language model (LLM) for gesture‐ and voice‐based robot control. Speech‐to‐text (STT) enables voice command interpretation, while a safety‐aware arbitration mechanism prioritizes gesture input for rapid intervention.

Measuring Beliefs Supportive of Environmental Action and Inaction: A Reinterpretation of the Awareness of Consequences Scale [PDF]

open access: yes
The Value-Belief-Norm model assumes that egoistic, social-altruistic and biospheric value orientations causally influence how people cognitively structure beliefs regarding adverse environmental consequences.

Explaining tourists´ support for environmental protection [PDF]

open access: yes, 2016
Any movement towards sustainable tourism is dependent not only upon the industry and other key stakeholders but also the demand side, namely the tourists. Yet, there is a limited literature from the demand point of view. In this area, contributions to an
