Hardware System for Environmental Diagnosis of Air Pollution

open access: yesJournal of the Russian Universities. Radioelectronics, 2020
Introduction. The existing scientific and technical problem was shown that, on the one hand, in accordance with legislation and international obligations (for example, under the Aarhus Convention), the population can request data on the current state of the environment, and on the other, monitoring systems existing today unable to timely ensure their ...

Interaction of Avelox with Bovine Serum Albumin and Effect of the Coexistent Drugs on the Reaction

open access: yesInternational Journal of Analytical Chemistry, 2012
The interaction between Avelox and bovine serum albumin (BSA) was investigated at different temperatures by fluorescence spectroscopy. Results showed that Avelox could quench the intrinsic fluorescence of BSA strongly, and the quenching mechanism was a ...

Affibody Modified G-quadruplex DNA Micelles Incorporating Polymeric 5-Fluorodeoxyuridine for Targeted Delivery of Curcumin to Enhance Synergetic Therapy of HER2 Positive Gastric Cancer

open access: yesNanomaterials, 2022
Combination chemotherapy is emerging as an important strategy for cancer treatment with decreased side effects. However, chemotherapeutic drugs with different solubility are not easy to realize co-delivery in traditional nanocarriers. Herein, an affibody

Modern Diatom Distributions in Guanabara Bay Sediment and Oceanic Areas, Rio de Janeiro (Brazil) [PDF]

open access: yesAnuário do Instituto de Geociências, 2011
One hundred and fifty three superficial sediments were collected in Guanabara Bay to physical-chemistry and diatom analyses in the ambit to Monitoring Project (CENPES/PETROBRAS). A total of 146 taxa of diatoms were identified where the most frequent taxa

Assessment of the Inhibitory Effect of Rifampicin on Amyloid Formation of Hen Egg White Lysozyme: Thioflavin T Fluorescence Assay versus FTIR Difference Spectroscopy

open access: yesJournal of Spectroscopy, 2014
The inhibitory effect of rifampicin on the amyloid formation of hen egg white lysozyme was assessed with both Thioflavin T (ThT) fluorescence assay and Fourier transform infrared (FTIR) difference spectroscopy. We reveal that ThT fluorescence assay gives

Neuroendocrine pathways and breast cancer progression: a pooled analysis of somatic mutations and gene expression from two large breast cancer cohorts

open access: yesBMC Cancer, 2022
Background Experimental studies indicate that neuroendocrine pathways might play a role in progression of breast cancer. We aim to test the hypothesis that somatic mutations in the genes of neuroendocrine pathways influence breast cancer prognosis ...

Rapid Fault Diagnosis of Photovoltaic Panels Under Outdoor Environmental Conditions [PDF]

open access: yes2020 IEEE International Instrumentation and Measurement Technology Conference (I2MTC), 2020
This paper investigates opportunities to rapidly detect defects in photovoltaic (PV) panels. It is worth noting that a defect in a single PV cell can significantly reduce the output power of a PV panel and, thereby, of an entire PV array. Hence, it is crucial to detect faults in PV panels and replace them within PV power plants.
