Reference‐Superimposed Reconstruction (RS‐Recon) for Arterial Spin Labeling
ABSTRACT Purpose Conventional arterial spin labeling (ASL) reconstruction suffers from sign‐flipping errors and/or noise bias under strong background suppression (BS), limiting SNR optimization. We propose reference‐superimposed reconstruction (RS‐recon) to enable ideal BS and robust signal recovery.

ABSTRACT Purpose Reproducibility in MRI is limited by variability in data acquisition, formatting, and reconstruction across sites and vendors. This work aimed to mitigate these challenges through an open‐source, vendor‐independent workflow originally developed for the 2023–24 ISMRM Repeat It with Me: Reproducibility Team Challenge.

When Fat Goes Astray: Your Liver and Pancreas Get Into Trouble
Metabolic dysfunction‐associated steatotic liver disease (MASLD) and intrapancreatic fat deposition (IPFD) are both common manifestations of ectopic fat accumulation. Although they share multiple risk factors, they also show notable differences in pathological features, standardization of diagnosis, and research maturity.

Analysing the population‐based KORA and SHIP studies, three spirometric at‐risk subtypes (early airflow limitation, PRISm, and small airway dysfunction) were consistently associated with incident airflow limitation. Their combination in a conceptual framework identified most future cases with high negative predictive value, suggesting potential for ...
